Not Impressed

Our play calling is suspect. The real match up was our running backs (or tight ends) against the NC State linebackers; we failed to exploit this advantage. We should have beat this team by 3 touchdowns.

Initially, I thought that we would have 10 wins this season; now, I say that we will be lucky to win 8.

We have the players, we just don't have the ability to exploit opportunities...and that is coaching.

remind us how many TE's we have healthy?

I would love to hear how you got that idea.

Simple. I watched them both play in person. We left 3 TD's on the board. NCSU is not that good of a team. That's not a knock on us at all just reality. I said before the game that NCSU didn't belong on the field with us. The score I picked was 38 to 20. After seeing them in person the score should havbe been a LOT more.

I can fill my cup (and yours too). I served eight years in the USMC (did you serve?).

My point is that our players pulled this win our of their rear ends (no help from play calling). This will not be enough in the SEC. BTW, we play in the SEC.

you didnt just pull the i served, did you?

Get a clue..Put Neal on the pine and stop the dancing and we have at least 50 more yards and 5 to 6 more minutes of possession time..1st game I think was pretty impressive!!

You're crazy. We win by two TDs and you're writing off the team because they didn't win by three, against a legitimate opponent, in their first game? If we'd opened with Georgia State and played as well as tonight, we'd have won 65-0 and you'd probably be saying Dooley should clear off a spot for a national championship trophy.

Honestly, WTF does your marine service have to do with anything?

God bless you for your service, but using it in a thread like this lends you NO credibility and lends you to being the douche hat you are coming across as.

what did vandy show you to make you think that they are a touchdown better? Their offence was terrible and their D couldnt stop all five plays SC ran.

First game rust. And NC STATE is good. Because we beat them doesn't make them bad. You know, it can make us good. NC State will win 10 and would clobber Vandy.

Some folks just refuse to be happy. It's like it's their duty to be unhappy for the rest of us. Sad thing is, they try to drag everybody else down too. Can't argue with 'em; it's pointless. Best we can do is pray for 'em, I reckon. Op, I'm sending you a cyber bro-hug right now. Let yourself be happy, man, it's so much better.

They are not way better than Vandy. I hate Vandy but Vandy is a touchdown better team than NCSU.

There's roast beef. To quote a line from my favorite movie, Little Big Man, "MR. Meriweather you just don't know when you're licked". Mr. Meriweather's response "I ain't licked, I'm just tarred and feathered, that's all".

No disrespect, (disrespect intended) the op should find another team to pull for. I have been banned for this before, and am willing to risk that once again. You op, are a moron, and can go pull for Penn State.
