Not the kind of press...

I'd like to know what makes a guy who spent 8 years in the Senate an experienced candidate. He'll come out with the same experience as Hillary and both served in the Watergate hearings. I don't see what makes him qualified to be President.

Dude, he can completely play the part. That's what his agent says.

LOL. Good one.

On another note it seems he's had to cut back on mailings and commercials because he's essentially run out of cash. Wasn't it about 2 months ago we heard Fred's people claiming once he announced that checks would just pour in endlessly? He seemed to spend more money in a shorter amount of time than McCain did earlier in the year.

Fred Thompson doesn't need money to win the primaries, he just needs to pollsters to quit putting out meaningless polls so we can all focus on the fact that he is obviously the best man for the job. Haven't you seen him at the debates?

After the last 2 Presidential elections the Democratic Party needs to show that they can actually run a Presidential campaign and quit worrying who the GOP nominee is going to be.

I agree completely, but having to run against Huckabee or Thompson would certainly make it a lot easier.

Hows denial this time of year? Is the water pretty cold :p

I realize this is a joke, but are you really that confident in an inexperienced, apathetic actor who has absolutely zero charisma? Or a man who thinks the best way to run a campaign is to latch on to endorsements from a professional wrestler and a washed-up martial arts film vet, not to mention Wayne Dumond?

The Thompson talk is silly at this point and though I doubt Huckabee gets the nomination either, what makes Huckabee an easy mark 4 years after a guy like W gets elected for the 2nd time?

I just don't think he can do what GW did in the swing states.

it's the obsession with bush that hurts them the most.

yep, but at least it caused them to unify somewhat.

personally I think it alienates a lot of middle of the road voters. The middle of the roaders may not like bush (at all), but the dems constant mention of all things bush makes them seem petty, insecure, and superior.

yup. al gore would have won in a landslide if he had a pulse.

No kidding, one thing is for sure this time around. If one of the top two democratic candidates as of now wins the nom, they will certainly be more charismatic candidates than the last two the democrats have thrown out there.

EXACTLY, not matter who the Rep's have running. no one can stand Hillary and no one trusts Obama, and the American people know how these libs are. I don't see anyone that's wants to turn America into a socialist nation winning. That's just me.

Or the opposite....the evil conspiracy theories on the Clinton's? Now you gotta love Rush and others talking about her pants suits and her wrinkles forming.
