I can feel their pain all the way from here. 😢 It was obviously not the result they (or us) wanted, but they're my team and I love and support them no matter what. Hopefully they'll get their mojo back soon.

Hope others will join me in being the segment of the fanbase that is able to resist piling on. 🧡

It's amazing how emotionally involved you can get as a fan. I don't know any of these players personally, yet their play will influence how I feel for the rest of the day.
Maybe I can change that. Barkeep, keep them coming.

I feel for the ones who are frustrated with the way things are going and wish they could make it right. It’s a bad feeling to be helpless.
I don’t feel bad for the ones who do not appear to give a crap anymore. I wish they would sit the bench or hit the road.

If the AD gave a crap from the get go... we wouldn't be irrelevant now. They made TWO easy hires that would "please" the mafia. This program deserved more. Much more.

I dont care what any fans say about my feelings of what i have been seeing on the court doesnt bother me. Fundamentally this team is just down right awful. Watch any other team in the SEC and you will not see as many forced shots into opposing players like we have seen out of Tennessee over the past several years. The turnovers and the bad decisions are just pitiful. Slow footed players trying to play big girl basketball. The Lady Vols need about half their roster overhauled.

I see a lot of the regular seagull fans are on and posting. It would seem like the thread title would have clued them into the point of the thread but they can’t resist.
Fly in, poop on everything and fly off.

I am 52 and been watching the Lady Vols since before the tv days. And this crap we are seeing isnt Lady Vols basketball. The record is pretty to look at. But they have a long way to go to ever get to another Final Four. So say im pooping on anything you want. But that smell is coming from the play and coaching we have been seeing.

I don’t think it’s from a lack of effort. They just aren’t that great of a team and probably out played their potential when they cracked the top 5. They are probably a top 15-20 team

The rebounding was the most telling tale. We lost that energy and aggressiveness on the boards we started the season with. Literally ruined my Sunday funday and I stopped watching after halftime. Horston seems to be the only of playing to win.

You're saying that Kellie Harper is a proven bad hire at Tennessee when she is 19-4 and 8-2 SEC in early February of her third season? Glad I'll never be in a foxhole with you.

There really is not a good reason to pile on. The Lady Vols are going through a bad period. What they need is support. The season is not over, they will get it together. They are going through much more pain than the fan base. If they ever needed our support, the team really need it now. I disagree that the team is irrelevant, because they have played well this year against three ranked teams and a 19-4 record is not unacceptable. This is not the time to stick a fork in the season and say we are done. Let’s give them a chance.

We had the same number of rebounds they did - 38. We didn't lose this game on the boards.

Shots weren't falling today. Easy shots at that. We were banging with them though.

They played just inconsistent offense as usual. They need to lock both teams in the gym and have them shoot 200 mid range jump shots per player before unlocking the doors

Why do fans continue to support mediocrity? Its her THIRD season and she hasnt shown she can compete with the best teams. AAMOF... her teams get blown out by bottomfeeders too. Its that simple.

What would be super hilarious is if these people on message boards who think nothing at all of saying incredibly hurtful things about young women on a basketball team will get all butt-hurt and indignant if someone on a message board does that to them. 🤣
Feelings???? Its about winning at this level. This isnt pee wee girls bball. Feelings have plunged this once proud program into the abyss. But we'll keep "staying positive" and "supportive" as the Lady Vols continue to flounder. It makes zero sense. But, but... Holly is a LV!! But... KJH is a LV... None of that matters. Winning and competing for championships should be the goal. And in 3 years, this team is no closer than they were in year 1. Thats the issue. If yall cant see that, there is nothing else to say.

Thanks for simplifying, and I for one totally get it. Just not sure what you want me to do about it. Do I have to stop following my team? Is continuing to watch games supportive of mediocrity? I was going to hang in awhile and see if they pull the wagon out of ditch but you make that seem positively immoral. Lots of personal outrage!

Of course not. We'll always be fans. But patting these athletes on the back and giving them a pass for horrible performances doesn't help them a bit. Youd think after the embarrassment of the AU game that serious "coaching" wouldve taken place. That obviously hasnt happened. I dont pretend to know what KJH is doing, but its OBVIOUS that it aint working. Whats really concerning is that UConn isnt that good right now and we were totally outclassed. Frustrating for sure.

We were beaten today by a better team, the product of a long established elite program. They're more athletic, deeper, and more talented. Kellie has not had time to build that kind of program yet. Until she does, why can't you support her and stop unfairly attacking her?
