I live in Lexington and the mcbee working at dollywood is comical bc the #1vacation destination for uk fans is Gatlinburg. .. its also worth noting that everyone up here is all of a sudden a football fan and think that uk is going to be competitive in 2013. Before 3 weeks ago, most uk fans either didn't care about football or were ohio st. fball fans...most fair weathered fans I've ever encountered

We have a great new coach. Can't blame us for looking forward to better times.

You don't know that you have a "great" new coach. Yes, he has had a few decent recruiting pulls, but he has still never been a head coach for a single game.

I never said he was a great head coach. I implied he is a coach that has potential to do great things. And remember, by Kentucky standards he was a very nice hire.

It's his first year. Fans will allow some losses.

They will allow losses but they will quickly turn their attention to basketball after a few. Happens every year they are semi excited about football. Which sucks cause I hate hearing about basketball in week 4.

Seriously? You are splitting hairs if your are trying to differentiate between the phrases, "great new coach" & "great new head coach".

By UK standards, any coach with potential to finish over .500 is a very nice hire.

I'm not differentiating anything.

There's not even anything to argue about. I said he's a great new coach. Stop over analyzing it.

I'm over-analyzing it? You're the one trying to say there is a difference in saying "great new coach" & "great new HEAD coach". You went well out of your way to show the difference between the two, which there isn't one in the context you used it.

Irony.
