then, based on sheer numbers, Cut is not the best qb coach i know. Chow can produce some serious monsters.
I'd take Chow as an OC over Cutcliffe, as well. Everywhere he's been, the offenses have been awesome. It's no coincidence that NC State's offense went from stellar to crap immediately after Chow departed. He's an excellent college coordinator. I still don't know if he'd be a great head coach.
The other thing is how much crap Eli took not just from the media brought from SEVERAL on this board for his incompetence. Now he's a golden boy hero every Vol should love. Pathetic. You can't have it both ways. It's just as bad as Windy's and TnFan07's bandwagon support.
I said qb coach for a reason. No doubt I'd take Chow as an OC over Cut. One day I think we'll see Chow as an HC somewhere and then we can decide on the whole HC issue.
But I don't see how anyone can make a case against a guy who's produced Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Ty Detmer, Matt Leinart, Carson Palmer and Philip Rivers in college.
Who deserves more credit? Archie Manning or David Cutcliffe? After much thought I have come to the conclusion Archie has been more instrumental in their development, not just because of their gene pool either.Agree or not?
Archie Manning - Biography
Pretty impressive stats.
you obviously haven't watched the Titans play.
I did watch them play, second year he helped get his team to the playoffs, he's a playmaker and as his career moves forward he will progress into a great pro QB as long as he stays healthy. Just like Eli you need to give him time, most guys don't come right out of the gate and play well at that position. In a couple years if he's still making the same mistakes then you can say that he's no good but give him some time.
