No. Non-conference games have zero relevance on SEC standings. Below is the tie-breaking procedure from the SEC website.Texas also beat Arkansas which means even should they have had the same record. Texas gets the tie breaker nod over UT too. Does Texas A&M's loss to ND even matter? I guess it would if all other in the SEC was equal vs a head to head team of going. Is that right?
We get hot and there's no reason we cant win a Natty. Not saying we will but there isn't a team that that's head and shoulders better than the others. Our offense is really starting to come together hoss and our defense is championship quality. Hard to believe ain't itSup Big Dog!!
I have said all season that the #5 seed WITHOUT making the SECG is the best possible outcome for us. Best period.
#5 gets
1st round home game vs Boise st or similar #12 team.
2nd rnd game AT the Big12 Champ....BYU etc. We beat both those teams for sure if we play decent.
That puts us in the final 4 teams on a 4 game winning streak and Nico playing best ball towards end of the season. Dream scenario...literally THE best circumstances possible IMO.
Maybe we can thrash Vandy by a couple TDs and move up to #5....may have to beat them by 21 or more to move up to #5. #6 is great too though!!! Just not quite as good as 5.
2nd round games are played at neutral sites. But that only makes it easier if we make it that far.Sup Big Dog!!

This is false. A&M has the tiebreaker over us due to combined SEC opponent win %. A&M didn’t beat Alabama or Oklahoma. If A&M beats Texas, it’s a four way tie as long as we beat Vandy, so the tiebreaker is between all four teams. We place fourth in that group in the SEC standings due to opponents win % tiebreaker.Yes, Because they beat all the teams UT beat, plus won vs Arkansas.

I don't see ole Miss getting back in. A lot of losses to unranked teamsDont see aTm beating Texas. Barn played like garbage as they have all season and still beat aTm. Theyve had 2 good games all season...destroyed Misery and came back to beat LSU after being down huge. Their offense sucks, and their defense isnt nearly as good as Us, Ga, Tx....
When texas beats aTm, their 3rd loss...Ole Miss may be the 4th SEC team in at 9-3. Will be interesting to see how conterence standings look after next week
There’s still a chance we could get a home playoff game nowNew rankings should look something like:
1) oregon
2) Ohio st
3) texas
4) Penn St
5) Notre Dame
6) Miami
7) Georgia
8) Tennessee
9) indiana
10) SMU
11) Boise St
12) Clemson
13) Arizona St
14) South Carolina
Which puts seeding at:
1) Oregon
2) Texas
3) Miami
4) Boise St
5) Ohio St vs 12) Arizona St
6) Penn St vs 11) SMU
7) Notre Dame vs 10) Indiana
8) Georgia vs 9) Tennessee
But there’s no way it can stay like that based on remaining games. There’s a lot of chaos that can and will happen.
Indiana will be lucky to be 12th. They have no quality wins at all and this was their shot.New rankings should look something like:

Learn to do some research before telling people they don't know the facts, moron! Here are the first two tiebreakers according to the Tennessean. But, I guess they don't know there facts. This is false. A&M has the tiebreaker over us due to combined SEC opponent win %. A&M didn’t beat Alabama or Oklahoma. Neither are true. Nico still can't throw the deep ball well, WRs aren't getting open deep, OL isn't giving them time a lot of the time. Even though, the OL is doing a good job of run blocking. If UT can't stretch the opposing defense by hitting at least three deep balls each half, UT doesn't go far in the playoffs. Also, the D hasn't shown it can play well vs a top tier QB! The D was exposed vs Beck. Gabriel and Ward are both better than Beck that picked UT apart! We get hot and there's no reason we cant win a Natty.
