How do we go from the winningest program of the 90's, near the top of the lists of all-time wins, bowl appearances, bowl wins, and # of current NFL players and become a run-of-the-mill team in the eyes of anybody worth their salt? Have we had a downturn? Yes, but that doesn't take away from everything we've built up over the last 100+ years.

Lets all give out a collective "Thanks Alot" to our ole pall Phillip Fulmer for this... :banghead2:

I'm tearing it up in year one with FIU. I have a couple of 3* commits and a bunch of 2*. My incoming MLB runs a 4.39, a CB that runs a 4.33, a 6'5 WR that runs a 4.37, a FB that runs 4.54 and a QB that also runs a 4.54. I have wins over Miami, Kentucky and BYU. I play on heisman and turned the CPU up to 70-75 on every thing. The CPU picks up the dirtiest blocks and has some of the dirtiest broken tackles. Since FIU has a career record of like 17-54 or something and has never been to a bowl game, I wanted to build them up. After 3 or 4 seasons I am going to take a job with UT . I'll probably actually give up though on this season because 2010 comes out in a week.

Just so this isn't completely off topic... let's get Scroggins and Rettig! Woo! Also Prater and Milton! Would be sexy :pimp_2:

They are lower rated than 67 overall FIU but I just like the idea of building up the team with the worst history in college football. In my first season(currently on) I came back from 20-0 against Iowa State by scoring a touchdown right in the fourth quarter and then going into overtime 23-23. They ended up beating me 48-42 or something like that. Turning up the CPU to 70-75 on everything makes it hard to stop the run and they do a pretty good job of staying on your wide receivers. You'll have a guy open by like 5 yards and they'll close in on them in the snap of your fingers to swat it down. The worst is how my wide receivers drop wide open balls on 3rd and whatever or my computer back underthrows or overthrows guys wide open by 10 yards from interceptions. It's disgusting. I never had that problem until I turned up the CPU.

This stuff is probably going to be removed.... I am going to created Jesse and Chase for my next recruiting class.

That's sort of on topic....

Crompton this year, Stephens next year, then it will be even more enticing for QB's in the class of 2011.

Hu scroggins said if he goes to Usc he dont care if hes redshirted and starts as a shopmore it shold be enticing now i bet if we get CR or JS they start over stevens

Possible, but Stevens would have to be a total dud to start a somewhat unpolished Freshman in the SEC over a decent Senior QB. If they are clearly better then so be it, but I wouldn't bet on it at least coming out of camp.
