This is my measure for improvement, last year we were out of the game by the 3rd quarter against bama, auburn, Oregon, and mizzou. I say we cut that in half and we can hold it to 2.

I couldn't name one for sure off the top of my head unless it was OU. SEC teams lost a lot of firepower and there isn't an O on their schedule that's frightening on it's face, unless we had a game with 3+ turnovers.

Not expecting much I take it? Keeping those expectations low? I guess that would be an improvement but some of those games didn't make it to the second quarter much less the 4th. So it would be an improvement if the team made it TO the 4th still in it.

Okie and Saban. If Sooners offense and qb carry over from BCS play in sugar bowl will be too much too soon for baby vols.

Oklahoma is the only for sure beat down I see right now, Alabama is probably gonna turn out the same as the past few years as well. Other than that I think we stay at least competitive in games against some of our stronger opponents.

Big ? mark and a big IF but if we get good quarterback play I don't see us getting blown away like 56-14 now of course if we turn it over 4 or 5 times then we will get our azz kicked by 35.

WTF???? There is no for sure in football, anything can happen in any game at any time. You should be forced to turn in all your UT gear for that dumbass statement about being for sure!!!

I say until we see our offense, I have no idea what to expect from us this year. Too many unknowns, but I think the team will play all four quarters for Butch.

Sorry for not being blind. I consider myself to be a sunshine pumper most of the time, but I'm not an idiot. If you can't handle the state of the program at this point I suggest you not watch this upcoming season.

And in case you didnt know, there's a difference between knowing we'll lose and wanting us to lose.

Right now, I'll say 2... OU and Bama

Trevor Knight torched Bama's D, I can only imagine what he will do to UT's. Bama is Bama. We play in Bryant-Denny. Cooper, Howard, Yeldon, and Henry. Our D isn't there yet.

And we don't have the offense (yet) to get in a shoot out with other teams.

if we get blown out in any game to me it's bad coaching and extremely poor execution on the players. the players should have to do up downs and run the steps in neyland if we get blown out ever again here at Tennessee. it's inexcusable.

The Bama game is in Knoxville this year but the last 3 visits have looked like Bryant-Denny North.

Us must be Kentucky. or Vandy as they were about 95% of the last 60 years.

UT wasn't giving it their all against Auburn. Even Fuad was ripping the team in the postgame show. Mainly he was talking about the kick coverage.
