All these jobs open. Someone ain't getting the coach on their Christmas wish list...

Hopefully, this will turn out as well for Arkansas as their basketball search did.
Realistically Hat, if we were in the coaching search pool right now with all these others... could we really expect to be a top draw?....and even if yes, the price just went way up didn't it?...

The guy didn't deserve a statue in his likeness in front of the stadium, but he did deserve to keep his job.

This isn't a loss for Nutt though. He'll get a new contract, to coach a new team, and he'll have a clean slate.

Arkansas will have to work like hell to get a decent recruiting class this year...and they'll be lucky to even make a bowl next year without #5 or #25 in the backfield.

How many of the job openings will Spurrier be linked to?

This is going to be a crazy off season... for every job that is filled another opens up.

I'm surprised. I thought the win Saturday was an effort by his players to send him out a winner...and save his job.

If I were Nutt I'd take a year off, live off of some of the buyout money, vacation, and maybe be a commentator for a few CBS games next season. Then I'd think about coming back. No need to rush back into it.

Two best days in Houston Nutt's life:
1. The day he arrived in Fayetteville
2. The day he left Fayetteville

Even the most disenchanted by Fulmer must recognize that had we been in a position to warrant firing Fulmer, it wouldn't be a good time to do so. There are just so many jobs open. It is a coach's market.

with the potential openings this year though TennNC, nutt could easily find a job and maybe even get overpaid.

Wonder how many HC's beat the #1 team in the country then turn around and resign or get fired the next week??

You're a Vol. We say "work like heck".
