'20 NV ILB Vai Kaho (San Diego State commit)

I couldn't find the article itself, but I think it was in the Athletic this past summer detailing the recruiting services Tennessee pays for. I found a post I made about it back then.

Those are some of the services and costs that are discussed. One of the biggest things I think was the paid version of hudl provides full game film with all 11 and all 22 camera angles so coaches aren't just watching hudl highlights to make decisions. Article goes way more in depth with all they provide though. Really interesting stuff. You can probably Google the company names for more info on what they provide. It is far more than what 247 and Rivals has access to. Also, apparently Chaney, conservatively, spends 16 hours a day watching game film. Hahaha
unbelievable waste of money and resources, why pay all that money?? we get all these insiders for free!!

Seriously, Pruitt is best judge of talent we've has since Fulmer.

Don't believe vq. Unless we have multiple big names jumping in that were not previously expected.

That's why the fan focused recruiting sites will so often rank players higher if certain coaches pursue them. If Pruitt is successful in finding talent... they'll start ranking his recruits higher.

If two guys look about the same and Saban, Coach O, Smart, etc are chasing one but not the other... the guy they like will get the stars.
Glad to see someone who understands this.

I don't think Pruitt took that many coaches for the in home for a back up plan. I wouldn't listen to vq. Now, if Kaho decides not to sign early and misses the boat, that's on him.

It’s a little over an hour flight to Reno from Vegas where they were already at to visit DW. I think JP likes Kaho a good bit, but he was always a fallback plan. JP already knew the family so he didn’t have to build a relationship with the kid. Pruitt was probably honest with him about it.
