I hate people.

I especially hate pansy-ass thugs who shoot people, stab people, mug people, rob people, etc.

"AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - Sources confirm to WSFA 12 News that there are multiple victims involved in a shooting that occurred late Saturday evening at an apartment complex in Auburn.

WSFA 12 News has a crew on the scene and is working to share as much information as can be confirmed. We can't release any information regarding victims, suspects, a motive or details about the case at this time, as they are all unconfirmed.

The shooting happened at the University Heights apartment complex. Authorities on scene are only confirming that multiple victims are involved. A specific number has not been stated.

Police also say they're searching for a suspect. Details on that search are unknown.

At least 10 AUPD vehicles and a Disaster Relief Trailer have been brought in. Large lights now illuminate the crime scene.

AU residents should avoid Longleaf Drive. Residents of the apartment complex are being allowed in only after showing their ID."

"UPDATE 2: WTVM is now reporting they’ve confirmed that three people have now died as result of the shooting:

News Leader 9 has confirmed three people have died in a shooting in Auburn. The shooting took place at the University Heights apartments complex late Saturday night.

Two additional victims are seriously injured and have been taken to an area hospital. We understand police are still seeking a shooter.

News Leader 9 spoke with Chief Tommy Dawson, who says he is asking for prayers from the Auburn family tonight.

The corners office has confirmed three are dead and two are injured in a shooting at the University Heights apartment complex off Longleaf Drive.

I don’t want to assume that the third victim is Eric Mack, but given earlier reports, that would make sense. The WTVM report also says that the local police chief says he does not believe the public is in danger which leads me to believe the earlier update about having someone in custody means they have the shooter under arrest,"

This. I'm sure they want to have solid info before reporting something of this magnitude. Just a bad situation. Seriously. People are cowards these days. Using guns against their own kind over stupid chit. Pisses me off... Thoughts and prayers to those close to and/or involved

I agree with the stupid part. The rest is human nature, not that being stupid isn't. A coward wouldn't have the guts to pull the trigger. A tendency to let anger rule over common sense is what we face today. People actually look for reasons to be angry.

As has been true throughout human history even trivial conflicts lead to escalating tit-for-tat actions. Doesn't matter if you're talking about some street fight loving punk, Hatfield-McCoy feud, or religious contradictory behavior such as the Vatican Assassins and Mormon Avenging Angels. For all our brain capacity, we act rather stupidly.

In the Auburn case all we can do is pray and hope this doesn't happen again with any college program. It's a darn shame seeing this stuff over and over again. Last year it was a UConn player and 1-2 other incidents elsewhere if I recall right. But the scale of this one outpaces those events. Just as stupid, though.

Prayers out to the family. Will wait on more details but many have said there is an awful culture at Auburn in a lot of their athletics. Me saying this has nothing to do with money or dirty recruiting, but I'm referring to gangs. Hopefully this is an isolated incident and not the case, but I fear you will see a lot of details ultimately released.

It's not just an auburn problem. Any school, at any level, who is recruiting from any of the major areas has these kids all in their AD. From Professional sports to NCAA, NAIA, juco. It's all over the place

Can take the thugs out of the hood but not the hood out of the thugs?

Why is everyone assuming and focusing on the fact that thugs did this?

If the reports are true about it being over a girl then it could've been anyone from and gangster to a CEO of a company. Good people do bad things everyday no matter their upbringing or social status.

The important thing to remember is the fact that the Auburn family needs our prayers and hoping things like this cease
