I'm not sure what to think. He's said before that he has the best relationship with Nieds and UT never stopped recruiting him.
Yet he said in that recent interview that he picked the coach who's had success with tight-ends and whom he had the best relationship with. Sounds contradictory to me. If he signed with UGA, then he lied about what he said about Nieds.

Well, if he silently committed to 4 coaches, it doesn't seem like he would have a problem doing that. Not that I understand it but AV said he would explain what the UGA love was about. So he has been lying to GA, TN or both.

Double edged sword, IMO. I would absolutely be happy if we had won the East the last few years. At the same time, I would absolutely be disappointed if we were bringing in the recruiting classes UGA has brought in and falling short like they have. Those classes build expectations that haven't been lived up to. No sour grapes about it. And I'm sure there are UGA fans that are disappointed they didn't make it further this year with the talent they have.

If we were in that position, first I would be extremely happy to be in that position.. You HAVE to get there to have a shot at the big prize. Second, I would be somewhat disappointed not winning it all. IMO though, you have to acknowledge no matter how good you are or think you are, a LOT has to go your way to win it all, i.e. Vols in 98.. The trick is staying at that level long enough to win one or hopefully more.. Will Smart keep UGA at that level? Who knows... I just hope Pruitt can get us there even if we don't win it all right away..

Why would he have to take his lumps? He said he was 90% but it could change. Even if he didn’t pick Tn I wouldn’t blame av. It wasn’t his choice to make. He’s just relaying info which We should all be thankful for.

Richt was 10-5 vs Tennessee... that's pretty good, but I think you are overstating it just a bit. Most of those games we lost were close except for 2003, and Tennessee won 4 out of 6 from 2004-2009. That is not exactly Saban-esque in terms of "owning" Tennessee. Dooley was the only coach who couldn't beat him... Kiffin's team beat him 45-19.

But as far as I can recall, there was nothing about Hardy' s announcement to be kept silent.

It's a matter of honor to respect the young man's wishes and give him his moment.

The biggest troll job on UGA we have seen, is something right up Brian Niedermeyer's alley. Nieds is as good as Kiffin when it comes to trolling on social media...remember the beer barrel tweet; and, there have been many more.

I'm starting to believe DW to UGA more and more, as well...like many; but, it will not surprise me in the least little bit, if this isn't a troll job on UGA, constructed by Nieds and DW...Nieds has known the kid since he was 15.
