I'm not sure what to think. He's said before that he has the best relationship with Nieds and UT never stopped recruiting him.
Yet he said in that recent interview that he picked the coach who's had success with tight-ends and whom he had the best relationship with. Sounds contradictory to me. If he signed with UGA, then he lied about what he said about Nieds.

Chaney has had success with TEs. He referenced Hunter Henry a lot

You do realize the mismatch he would create right? He’s 6’7.5 runs a 4.7 40 and weighs 250lbs. Who’s gonna guard him? Dbs are too small and linebackers aren’t as quick. He could be a major target for hb.

Imo he could be a jimmy graham type threat. Use him in short yardage and in the redzone. Which imo he would be a huge asset. he would be a great complement to all the speed players we added.

Very few true difference makers at tight end. This guy is going to be one of them. Where ever he chooses to land they will game plan heavily around him and he will be a force to reckon with. Choose your poison to shut him down and let the burners get you deep or let him high point ball after ball. Maybe I am wrong but I think he is a big , big deal.

Not even our players believe he’s a Vol. No communication with UT and all National guys saying UGA. Whether you think those media guys “have no idea” they get paid to follow recruiting. They have connections to people who would know on coaching staffs and across the country. They typically don’t just throw things out there. He’s a Dawg.
