DW: Yeah Kirby I'm all Dawg, but I'm going to keep the others hanging.
DW: Yeah CJP I'm all VOL, but I'm going to keep the others hanging.
DW: Yeah Coach Saban I'm all toothless inbred, but I'm going to keep the others hanging.
DW: Yeah Coach Diaz I'm all Hurricane, but I'm going to keep the others hanging.

All "insiders" have inside confirmation that they are the chosen school. It explains why dawgs are so confident, the only part I can't reconcile is how if the school he signed with knows how/why the other 3 don't leak that they are not the one, unless there is another part of this "process" that has them all still on the hook. It seems like Bama has been real quiet in this mix....kinda makes me nervous. Maybe papa Saban's official Fudge U to his coaching staff poaching former assistants....Well that feeling passed! ALL VOL!!!!

“He made up his mind on the tail end of his visit to Tennessee”

I took that as promising unless he eliminated UT at the tail end of the visit....guess I don’t have a clue how to read the tea leaves?
Making his decision at the end of his UT visit can go either way. I have one of the few on here that have stayed true to DW to UT...I was referring to video interview that was pro mutt...

Jmo but I don't think any school would just come out and say it. They've got to consider their image to future recruits and no one knows if the kid may transfer in the future. It's becoming so common.
No need to tick him off over a few days.

If he really said all that, then no question, Vol!
The comment about who's been there for him since his freshman year and has always kept it 100 is the one n only Nieds.
Sure hope so, I’d even say if not us, then anyone but GA. We don’t need them reloading with such elite (yet, squandered) talent, so we don’t have such an uphill battle to fight back to the top of the East.

Whether he’s a Vol or not, thought I’d share this:

“Despite showing some positives in route running and speed, Darnell Washington was a bit underwhelming in those aspects. He measured in at an impressive 6-7, 255 and blocked well. Washington was a monster in red zone one-on-ones, but apparently had a few drops as well. One reporter said “When he’s focused, he’s tough to handle. Unreal talent.” Not sure if I want to see that as a good thing or a negative.”

-Day 2 Notes Under Armour All American Practices

Basically, he won’t out run any quick DBs or get much separation but will be a key target in the Red Zone.

You could see that from his highlights. He is not fast at all hes just big and athletic. He wont be a threat down the middle but he will be one that if they can get in single coverage against small DBs he will own them. He will be a safety net/possession guy and a red zone nightmare.

It doesn't really matter who you put on him... he's completely unguardable in a jumpball situation... 6'8" LBs and DBs don't exist

It's been reported that Saban said they have signed an unnamed recruit whom they are waiting for him to announce. I'm not saying its DW but this whole process is very interesting.

When did UGA offer?
Not sure, 247’s timeline only goes back to 5/10/18 (at least as far as I can see it as a non-subscriber), and we offered on 6/20/18 but were his 16th or 17th offer, something like that. GA isn’t listed on the list from when they offered him as far as I can see, so if they offered him before then, then I can’t tell. 6/20/18 would have been his junior year, so maybe UGA did offer him before us. Not good for us based on his comments in the previous SI.com article about being offered his sophomore year. Unless I’m doing “calendar math” wrong (which I may well be), then GA probably offered him before we did because CJP wasn’t our coach his sophomore year, and Neids wasn’t on staff, which will make us have to rely on his relationship with Neids and that last visit on 12/13.
I’m probably way off base on this and need one of you recruitniks to help make sure I’m correct here.

Hope everyone realizes now that AV (and others) info is only as good as what the recruits tell them. In this case DW told four schools he was committed, so obviously he was playing game to its fullest. He knows where he is going and will be interesting to see if he stays there until declaring for the draft.

Any person with half a brain cell should realize your first sentence as truth. I have seen people bash AV and others for info they bring. Yet those same ones don’t have the capacity to understand that we are dealing with 17-19 year olds.

I was trying to find when UGA offered and couldn't as well. June of 2018 would have been the summer of his upcoming Junior year.

Maybe he's planning to spend his freshman year at Georgia, Sophomore at TN, Junior at AL, and if his draft stock isn't high enough switch to Miami for a Senior season?

The way I took Nieds has been recruiting him since he was a Freshman or Sophmore. That tells me their relationship had already been started before he got the UT offer. So the relationship dates back to Nieds’ Bama days?

I thought DW was a lock to bama......then Georgia.....now UT and here is why...... DW will not be at Georgia because Kirby wants a run first offense. Chaney left Georgia because he has a more balanced mindset. Georgia underutilized the tight end this year. Chaney has developed Georgia and other schools Tight Ends into NFL draft picks. DW has noted coaching development as a reason he picked the school he picked. DW has also stated he knows what is real in the recruiting process and what is not. I think he recognizes UGA is run first and he will be blocking more than being targeted. He also said his position coach did something very unusual when he told him he signed with the school he chose. This sounds like something Niedymyer would do. I think UGA is going to see a little disappointment on this one.

Just reading the tea leaves with orange colored glasses on but it seems probable we stole one.
Lol no
