I’m loving the aggressiveness in the portal to win right away. I’m at 9-3 currently. By game time I’ll be 15-0.
LOL... not sure which parts are serious and which aren't but I agree with their efforts to shore up the roster. I'm feeling better about this being a 6-8 win roster now.

"Having coach Brian Jean-Mary know my playing style, and knowing how I move and my best attributes and him knowing me were important," said Mohan, who signed with Michigan in the 2020 class. "Him going to Tennessee and having him tell me how I could be there, and how they are going to use me, and how he explained everything to me, it seemed like they really wanted me there."
At Tennessee, Mohan is eager to reunite with Jean-Mary, and also work with Vols defensive coordinator Tim Banks, whom he knew from his time being recruited by Penn State out of Brooklyn Erasmus Hall.

"I am going to be an outside linebacker," he said. "I know (Banks) was at Penn State and it is going to be like their playbook."

Mohan has four years of eligibility remaining, and he is eager to help Vols coach Josh Heupel build the program

"Talking to him on the phone and having great energy, and being really genuine and not fake, it seemed like they really wanted me there," Mohan said. "It seemed like they really wanted me to be part of something big. Just having all of that made me feel like that was the best play to go next."

Mohan is also eager to showcase his ability early in his career.

"I am just ready to compete," he said. "I am ready to show everybody in the world who I am and show them I am ready to go dominate and do what I need to do for the team. I am ready to show people I am here to play, here to dominate and just do what I freakin' need to do so we can win games and be the best. I am ready for the competition."

The one time transfer rule could end up helping Tennessee turn this into a quicker rebuild than expected. This guy and the Juco CB are nice pick ups at thin positions. We are starting to get to a place where the depth is ok. There may not be any real stars on the defense right now, maybe the whole team for that matter, but there’s enough that you don’t expect to be a big underdog the whole season. The offensive system is really the star here so we may not need as much talent as before to score points. We will need it on Defense and this guy sounds like the next generation type linebacker they’re looking for. As others have stated I love the win now mentality. Who knows what your scholarships will look like with the NCAA thing looming so maybe it’s best to go ahead and use a few if the right guy is willing to transfer.

It is interesting how Jean-Mary seemingly WANTED to bring this kid on board while Garner doesn't seem to be too concerned about bringing Hardy or the other Auburn DL.

I think it speaks volumes if a former coach wants to bring you along to their new program.

I wonder if they might also be looking at OLB Osman Savage from Michigan he's also in the portal. Crazy that Michigan has like 6 linebackers in the portal. Savage played HS ball at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore.

I think he is at least 2nd team. If not starter.

Willis still has to claw his way fron the doghouse.
It's Banks and Mitchell right now imo....

Banks and Mitchell are ILB, this guy is an OLB. So it's a question of where he fits with the Baron/Joseph/Eason/Harrison group, which of these guys stay at OLB which move back and forth to DE. Got to like our additional depth that's for sure.
