Obama and socializing the BCS system

I agree that the Indie status needs to go. Its a joke and not fair to other teams.

Now how do you think OBAMA would handled it?

Utah would join the pac -10.

Missouri would join the little 11.

TCU would join the Big 12.

Notre Dame and some other teams would join the Big East.

So you don't think even the Ivy league and WAC and Mountain would get a spot also?

Wow, you honestly believe progressive in 1914 is your progressive movement?

:fool:

I always knew you had a soft spot for the environment and anti-trust legislation.

You're going in the right direction, just go a little farther.

You know you like Barack.

Really, labels?

If you are going to label me, the most accurate label would be bull moose.

:banghead2:

That is half right.

As much as I want to see a play-off, the last party I want to see designing/administering would be the Federal Gov't.

To be specific to the OP question - who knows, except it would be too complicated, biased somewhere, and in an effort to please all, would be a cluster fudge.

I could see super conferences.

Now would they place some poor teams in the same conference as some rich teams(like public schools and busing, sorry i went there) or would they keep the rich schools close together and the poor schools would be lumped together.

Half the wac goes to sec half the sec goes to the wac

Or they stay where they are and expand?

If a play-off system is enacted, by whoever, the larger schools in the mid-major conferences will attempt to move to the major ones if there is little to no provision for them to make the play-offs.

This guy doesn't need to be in government, and he sure doesn't need to be involved in decision-making for sports. We already have things screwed up enough.
hmm thats how i felt about our last pres.

everybody wants to just 'put' a team in a conference but fails to remember conferences invite teams to join their conference. The NCAA does not force anyone to one place or another.

Meanwhile back in the real world O Bama took the time to congratulate Bama on their "13th national championship" (he said it folks) which should settle this issue once and for all.

He stated "even though I picked Florida I always thought you guys had the coolest name."

Meanwhile in private he thanked Coach Saban for "motivating Kiffen into taking a more inferior job many miles from the football mecca known as the SEC." He further stated "maybe now I can watch ESPN in peace."

Secret handshakes were exchanged and everyone was dismissed. A good time was had by all.

I heard George W Bush was a big fan of Florida.
