This is all I'm going to say, but there is really tons more I could say..... if you're well off, vote for Republicans. But if you make less than $150,000 a year, Republicans are your friends only one year in four, and that is during an election year.

what a bunch of crap.

so basically, if you're not well off vote Dem and get some of that rich person money redistributed back to you?

only way I'm voting for Obama is if he begins his speech at the DNC with "Excuse me while I whip this out". I will actually tattoo Obama '08 on my forehead if that happens.

(and I hope no one is offended by my reference to one of the greatest movies ever)
he goes there and comes out with a smoking jacket labeled "Gov" and a paddle ball, I'm all in.

I'll even put a sign in my yard.

just don't take it too hard when that rich person fires your can during mid-term elections because he has an additional $200K of tax bills that your salary helps offset.

I'll take the presidency because of the bully pulpit and the international responsibilities (SCOTUS nominations don't hurt either).

I was thinking along the same lines. The POTUS has the most power in foreign policy and the least in economic policy.

In looking at recent examples I'd say Reagan had more to do with foreign policy successes than Clinton did with economic success.

And why is this? This is no better than a campaign slogan. There is no meat on the bone.

You apparently have no hope of personal success and are totally scared of personal responsiblity.

How do you know how successful I am, or about my personal responsibility?
that was my question too. Now I do see how he could ask you about your $150K plus commentary, but didn't see how he came to this conclusion.
