I don't see the problem with the pitch TBH. First of all, baseball is gonna be the fourth most popular sport in this country in about 5 to 10 years anyways. Second of all, it's no secret that he is more of a basketball guy. Everyone has their good sports and their bad sports. I remember George Bush shooting basketball with some little kids and his shots were full of fail. But he threw out one of the best first pitches ever. Teddy Roosevelt was still probably the best athlete president ever.

yeah, but the President doesn't stroll out to mid-court at the NBA All Star game and take a ceremonial tip-off.

Andrew Jackson was the best athlete. He was an excellent jockey when racing his horses. He also engaged in the ultimate sport, dueling.

The fact that he died in bed as an old man proves he was good. :gun:

Besides, he was from Tennessee. That's good for 10 extra bonus points.

So was Al Gore, but I bet you don't feel the same way about him. :)

Three reasons: 1) 90 percent of what passes as "music" these days makes me puke (another Britney Spears warbling tune, oh joy); 2) I don't have satellite radio; 3) sports shows are boring me to tears this time of year.

So people on welfare receive a car to use for a year along with AAA service and you can't afford satellite radio?

has anyone compared Bush's 1st throw with hussein's? i believe Bush threw a strike while wearing a jacket and a bullet proof vest.
Well that clearly makes Bush the better President doesn't it?
