newsobserver.com | Obama candidacy stirs racist Web sites

expected responses from the board:

-Obama will redistribute racists to ensure all races have an equal number.

-Obama will give a speech advocating white supremacy to try to gain votes.

-Obama will seek to bundle campaign contributions from a number of white supremacists and claim it's democracy in action.

-Obama will convince these white supremacists that he'll provide them with free healthcare and welfare without having to work, thereby earning their votes.

What else am I missing?

the fact that he's also stirring up the polar opposite of white supremacists.

You forgot
-Obama is a terrorist and hates our flag!

you're clearly missing his ties to the black liberation movement and the Weather Underground. I know they've been hard to spot, but it has actually been in the news.

I wonder why you omitted that equally radical and destructive crowd from your post.

Obama should love this. He is all for enabling and supporting racists.

Liberals have it so rough, I sympathize. So what about William Ayers?

Yes, but can he "CHANGE" them.

Nah, he prefers to use them for as long as they are beneficial to him. Then when thay are no longer beneficial, act surprised and astonished at their behavior and resign from any association with them.

this is as good a place as any to point this out. I got to talk to one of those people who believes Obama really is a terroristic Muslim who is out to destroy the United States by becoming our next POTUS. It was awful and even though I have no desire to vote for him whatsoever, I felt like I should defend Obama from this ignorance. In the end though I just decided to let it die. I figured getting in an argument with my sister's father in law was probably a bad idea.

Such groups have historically inflated their influence for self-promotion and as an intimidation technique, and they refused to provide exact membership numbers or open their meetings to a reporter. Leaders acknowledged that their numbers remain very small -- "the flat-globe society still has more people than us," Roper said. But experts said their claims reveal more than hyperbole this time.
