Hopefully McCain has the ability to get Obama to say this in the face-to-face debate tonight. Of course there's never been a secret that Obama's plan is to raise taxes on incomes over $250K/yr.

Not to mention the businesses that employ us.

Has it ever occured to you that maybe, just maybe....there are people who are on welfare that aren't lazy, and actually need it to get by for awhile?

I know somebody personally that was on welfare because they needed to escape an abusive situation at home. She now has a job and contributes to society.

I guess she should have just been left out on the street, and not given the chance?

And surely you realize there are many people who live in the government dole their entire life, in many cases their children grow up and live off entitlement programs.

I have no problem helping those that can't help themselves, or who need help for a period of time. The problem I have is with people who never better themselves because they know the rest of the country is forced to pay for their lazy a$$

Stop with the namecalling. These people can be referred to as "less fortunate," "down on their luck," or those "out of work."

Right, and when it doesn't work, he supports a program of socializing the losses with a massive bail-out.

Somebody had to do something. You forget that many were calling for someone to do something but very powerful democrats protected their pet and source of contributions and blocked every attempt by calling it racially motivated and assuring us everything was ok, there was no problem!

And I guess this isn't socialization or evidence of economic idiocy either.....

All conservatives will tell you they were duped by Bush.
