Really?
Yes really. It's such a nonsensical statement. Firstly, who the hell is to say the market provides every service the market would like. More importantly, the private sector wouldn't consider whether I would like, or if it's in the best interests of our country. They would only consider whether they could make money, and quite frankly I don't base every decision on whether Siemens can make billions of dollars off it.

if a company can make a profit by doing something, that means they can employ people and expand their business, thus hiring even more people. When government does something, even something within it's Constitutional limits, the result is often expensive, subsidized and not very efficient.
Really? Sounds like corporatist propaganda to me. The government can and has done all sorts of things exceptionally well. My firefighters are run by the government, and I think they're great, cheap, and everyone's covered.
you think your firefighters are cheap? you dont' live in the united states do you? or is $125K a year with $100k in retirement considered cheap now for union employees?

he's not one of those other guys. While misguided IMO, his posts at least make some sense and aren't just ramblings like the others.
Yeah France and every other country with unions is in utter collapse life expectancy at 48, happiness index in the depths, and failed states. The United States in the 40's -70's were such a disastrous place too.
