ObamaGate

You mean I've been buying all that freeze dried/dehydrated 25 year shelf life food for nothing? Pfft!

Actually, never a bad thing to have around.

Unless you want to depend on the government during a time of disaster of course. You know they always provide the best response to such things.

Rice and beans are cheaper. Seeds and manure are cheaper still. :)

(Washington DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the United States Department of Justice and the Department of the Treasury regarding records related to the investigation of retired United States Army Lieutenant General Michel Flynn’s communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak (Judicial Watch v. Central Intelligence Agency et al. (No.1:17-cv-00397)). (The National Security Agency refused to confirm or deny the existence of intelligence records about communications between Gen. Flynn and Amb Kislyak.)

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit after the agencies failed to respond to a January 25, 2017, FOIA request seeking:
Any and all records regarding, concerning, or related to the investigation of retired Gen. Michael Flynn’s communications with Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak between October 1, 2016 and the present.

If I recall the great "chart" folks depended on was a slight distortion of the facts as well. If memory serves (I might be wrong) the issue was "how much federal spending" in each State per capita. Didn't take into account (or hid) military bases, federal installations and things like that. Take Oklahoma for example. Not huge in population, but four military bases here alone, two of which are pretty large. As well as the Reservations which are covered under the Federal Government. So, that kind of thing can skew the numbers hugely when put out on a proportional basis with the population (OK is roughly 1.2% of the population of the US)

But when compared to Caifornia with 12% of the total population of the US, those numbers shrink significantly.

No. What you postulate was a meme on VN and other places, but I posted the stats including the military. That only made things worse, i.e. most blue states are even bigger givers and red states are even bigger takers. We all need to let that particular meme die a quiet death.

I'm traveling now, or I'd look up the stats again. They were VERY easily found with a simple Google search if you want to confirm it yourself.

A list of witnesses scheduled to appear at a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Open Hearing on “Russian Active Measures” contains a glaring problem: the only technical experts scheduled to testify are from CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike is a firm hired by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and has become the primary source of the narrative about “Russian hacking” of the 2016 election and has acted as a mouthpiece for the Democrats since last June.

Okay. Didn't realize you had debunked it.

After eight years of scandal and lawlessness, it looks like the beginning of the end may finally be coming for former President Barack Obama’s cronies.

Appearing on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show Thursday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions told the conservative talk show host that a special prosecutor may be appropriate — and soon be needed — to investigate Obama-loyalists Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch.

Sessions was asked about the IRS targeting scandal, the “Fast and Furious” case, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email servers, and other Obama-era scandals that were swept under the rug by the former administration, and Hewitt suggested some kind of outside counsel could be appropriate because they’d have the “authority to bring charges if underlying crimes were uncovered.”

Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz subpoenaed two agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to appear before his committee in connection with the Obama Administration’s gun-running program, Fast and Furious. Firearms from the former president’s scheme were allegedly involved in the 2011 murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico.

The Internal Revenue Service has located 6,924 documents potentially related to the targeting of Tea Party conservatives, two years after the group Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit for them.

The watchdog group intended to find records regarding how the IRS selected individuals and organizations for audits that were requesting nonprofit tax status.

Excellent.

Once Sessions et al. clean out the scandals of the Clinton-Obama crew, we can then promptly escort his sorry perjuring rear to prison, along with Bannon, Trump, Kushner, Ivanka, Flynn, Manafort, Stone, Page, Miller, and the whole gaggle of thieves.

Drain the swamp, indeed.
