Just a question for the people that voted for Trump...

How do you defend his "wiretapping" claims? What is the difference between "wiretapping" and wiretapping? How do you defend his accusations that the Brits did it at Obama's behest?

I didn't vote for him but here is my take anyway.

I believe that he was "wiretapped" (some form of electronic surveillance) either directly or indirectly. Indirectly meaning that his staff, campaign team ext were under surveillance. We know that Flynn was and that a FISA warrant was requested for Trumps campaign. We also know that our IC does have a history of using foreign intelligence services to monitor US citizens to get around the laws preventing them from doing so.

So in short I think he was "tapped" in some way, he shot his mouth off as usual about it and now has to backtrack because he cannot expose the details due to security reasons.

He can accuse the Brits, but can't expose evidence because of security concerns? Weak.

Wiretapped = all electronic surveillance? The man has to tighten up his language. This is a bad look when you accuse your biggest and longest term ally of spying on presidential candidates basing it only on an editorial piece from Fox news.

He is bumbling about and his supporters keep believing everything he says regardless of how outrageous.

I have no disagreements. The man needs to keep his trap shut and off that twatter. He's more than a businessman now.

There are things he is privy to now that even if it enrages him he can't expose.

Maybe, but it's a more plausible theory than any of the talking heads have asserted.

The problem is the complete lack of evidence coupled with Trumps history of saying what's politically expedient without regard to reality.

Frankly, I'm of the opinion that it was nothing more than a fabricated distraction to draw heat from Sessions perjury. People expect this nonsense from Trump - after all, he could shoot someone on 5th ave and still maintain a 40% approval rating.

Calling his "hires" integrity into question creates a bigger problem especially after the Flynn debacle. Trump is used to the heat - Jeff "the weasel" Sessions collapsed at the first hint of trouble.

As I understand that you are a man of some means, it is fortunate for you that your meals will not be cut in your old age.

As for my grandmother, who uses Meals on Wheels (because my family works and can't be there every second of the day), I may not be able to say the same.
