I think what is lost on a lot of people is that every president goes on vacations which require an entourage and security detail (the SS). This costs a good chuck of change regardless. For the most part, we never heard of this expense with other presidents. With 24-hour media coverage, they really have nothing else to talk about so they have resort to trivial sh*it like this. The only difference between this president and his predecessors is his apparent smugness which really rubs the general population the wrong way during an extended recession.

Agreed on principle.

Although, not sure where he has gone on vacation (not official business) that would be considered "lavish". He's president, he can't help what has to happen so he can travel.

Where is Muschamp when you need him? He will tell you that the President could spend $1 billion on a vacation and that it is no big deal.

Same here. I try and not stir the pot and I don't claim to be all knowing either. I just like the fact, that unlike a majority of people, at least I take a look at both sides and try and understand the issue at hand. Instead of launching partisan attacks or using scare tactics to get my point across. :hi:

I can respect that. I really just like to embolden the foolishness and crack jokes. I only tackle the issue when it's super relevant to me, which doesn't cover a lot of subject matter around here.
