Obama's Biggest Mistake?

Romney at least won't do more harm than good.

It's absolutely nuts to throw away a vote against Obama

pretty sure VA is an important state. As I've said before, I feel a vote for Romney is throwing away my vote.

The ACA was explained extremely poorly. I mean, look at the level of ignorance on this very board of college educated people about it.

There are still people on this board who think it creates some incentive to small businesses to drop health insurance coverage for their employees. It does not.

There are still people on this board who think the individual mandate will increase the cost of insurance to those that currently have it. It does not.

There are still people on this board who think that the cost of paying the penalty/tax is passed on to the employer. It isn't.

The heart of the individual mandate is to force people who use the system but are not paying for their use of it to pony up some dough and at least minimize the shifting of the cost of their care to those of us who pay for our care, either directly or through insurance.

That is a decidedly Republican ideal.

Just ask Mitt Romney.

ACA was poorly explained because no one read it before passing it. We still don't know the full ramifications of it and most of us don't have the time to spend figuring it out. I'll go so far as to say most of your comments above are based on speculation and not actual knowledge of what is in the bill nor how it is going to be implemented.

What this means is only the insurance companies and a handful of government bureaucrats will know the details when we all get screwed in 14.

Oh joy, this debate again.

Fact of the matter is that Romney simply doesn't have much energy for people voting for him, as opposed to against Obama. He'll get plenty of votes just on that score, sure. But at this point in time, especially given the polling, I have a hard time seeing Romney win on the basis of some people just voting for him as a vote against Obama.

So, given that, why give people such a hard time for going in another direction and voting for someone they do support?

Every president since Eisenhower* has done more harm than good, IMO. Romney will be no different.

*and maybe even him, too

When Romney's talking about juicing up medicare, and claiming he wants to make cuts, but can't bring himself to say where the cuts are coming from, we're in a lot of trouble no matter who wins.

How noble of you all to stand on your principles! Good luck with that. Meanwhile in reality the country goes down the ****ing pipe with Obama at the helm

It's throwing your vote away if you don't care if Obama is re-elected

And as long as this kind of thinking goes on we will stay further in hole.

It has to start somewhere. I'm doing my part on election day by voting who I think is the best option.

again, it will go down no matter who is elected.

The definition of insanity comes to mind.

It has to start prior to 4 months before the ****ing election!
