No I am not being serious. I have been to Hampton Roads, and I'm pretty sure most people there don't align themselves with the Republican Party.

you visited all of Hampton Roads? It's a pretty big place you know. Pretty sure most VA's congressional reps are Repubs

When Romney's talking about juicing up medicare, and claiming he wants to make cuts, but can't bring himself to say where the cuts are coming from, we're in a lot of trouble no matter who wins.

He has advocated means testing. That is a cut.

There are still people on this board who think the individual mandate will increase the cost of insurance to those that currently have it. It does not.

It already has. Keeping "children" up to 26 yoa has caused mine to increase.

Yep - as has/will the pre-existing conditions rules.

How about another myth of Obamacare - it will decrease the deficit...who on here believes that?

Cannot understand how any educated person doesn't believe the cost of health care will not increase when you "officially" add all of American under the plan. Even those who aren't paying their fair share. My German health care costs increased significantly when the wall fell which increased the number of members without an influx of payments from the lazy east.

You're right. They have to know it, therefore anyone who says anything to the contrary is being disingenuous.

I honestly believe insurance companies began increasing their rates in the anticipation of the passage of this bloated whale. Anyone who thinks that the govt will provide everyone with something and the costs wont increase is full retard. Look at the enormous success of "cash for clunkers" as an example of how streeamlined our govt is. Its not even a R or D issue. The more govt involvement the more expensive. / rant
