Thread went off track in a hurry;president implies that he will be in position to make deals with Russians. Charles Logan, anyone? -- albeit he does it in broad daylight. It is within our interests to work with Russia, as we always have done. Withering to the demands of a faux democracy is not within our interests. Former presidencies have practiced the act, but the Bush administration created a gold standard, and much of this followed within the Arab spring. Negotiations are fine, but the balls to say that he can practically do as he wishes after a second term and guaranteed presidency is asinine. This is a tyrannical, former KGB who has a stranglehold on FSB/SVR. To pretend that Russia has made dramatic changes since Soviet Russia would be a misconception. For the head of state of a western hegemon to be making comments like this is unheard of and says much about the character within.

And I don't understand. Guy clearly said he'll do something the electorate would fire him over but must wait until he's unfireable. If Romney doesn't hammer the point - a lot - he's not serious about winning or is getting laughable advice.

Economy and Obama disingenuousness need to be his entire deal.

For the awake and knowledgeable, if Obama does not scare the daylights out of you, you have simply not been paying attention. Thing is, Romney is just as bad, and the real kicker is they are financed by the same folks. There was talk of being in a hole, early on in this thread. That assumption is quite correct. Its not a Bush hole, nor is it an Obama hole. Its a keynesian economics hole. Until we realize this, we will continue to chase our own tail around the room trying to fix the problems while the printing press rages on. Until finally, our dollar is worthless and the debt we owe other nations namely China comes due. Its time to wake up before its truly to late.
