Never said he could fix them maybe he can maybe not but I know you all are politically savvy enough to know which party will take 90% of the blame for these key words. That is just facts now if Obamas preacher says that they tap toes together that would be different.

Hey, while were throwing out numbers, how much is Obama's UHC package going to cost and who's going to pay for that?

Don't forget that he plans to use some of the money currently spent in Iraq and divert it to the global poverty cause. Which we will find out later was used in many countries to fund terrorism against us and our allies.

What exactly has that wonderful Democratic congress done to right the ship in the past couple of years?

The presidents party always takes more blame in elections when things are not good than the majority party in congress google 92 presidential election for proof. Look I know some of you don't like the thought of a (D) president but I'm stating my positions by precedents already set.

Come on DA, we both know that politicians are amphibian _ _ _ _ .............

Yep . . . If nothing else comes out of all of this, Obama has gone from looking like an agent of change to just another guy trying to say the right thing to get elected.

I'm to the point also that they all suck I also believe we might be in more trouble as a nation than most Americans perceive regardless of who wins in Nov.

That's what cost the majority for the R's... I really think now it's going to be more of a case of who going to spend less money... and immigration is going to pop up again before November.

I could care less who is in control because there is not much difference between either party.

I care about government expansion and how we can stop it!

It is alot easier to blame one supremely powerful person than 435 somewhat powerful people.

I'd say that is probably true. Half of America can't even name their Congressman.

You buy his reasoning that since Wright introduced him to Christ then he cannot abandon him? Am I correct on your interpretation of his reasoning? Clarify if I am not.

So the Klan was cool as long as it was introducing people to Christ? Forget that it misinterpreted His teachings as long as it brought people to Christ?

No, if you watched the speech the explanation went much deeper - it was more than just an introduction to Christ.

I couldn't explain it in a posting but in short, I understood his reasoning after I listened to the speech.

That is as touchy feely as I have ever seen you VBH.

Let me put it another way. I don't think he should have to quit a church where the pastor said some nutty, hateful things. I'm relatively satisfied that Obama doesn't believe those things.

I dislike the guilt by association trap that is played by all sides of politics.

Oh I don't think he should have to quit either. Freedom brother. However, the fact he did not shows he is not worthy of being POTUS. As posted earlier, he seemed to have a harsh stance on Imus. Perhaps, he should be even harder on himself and those close to him.
