How are you feeling right now about the OC search? Underwhelmed, fatigued, bored with it at this point, fed up..... It will take the sting off the hire if they wait the fan base out.

Ok. Maybe I'm wrong and it's going to be someone else. What's the hold up? Is CJP having trouble finding a good OC willing to work for him?

Those same people told us that the UT president is blocking the hire, that things are getting serious with Hugh Freeze, that Fulmer is blocking the Freeze hire, that Freeze is going to Alabama and that this thing is 95% done

I know the UTAD is a crap show when it comes to coaching searches, but that just makes no sense to me. What difference would it make?

Could be someone in the Pros still coaching. The longer it goes on the more confident I am that CJP has his man.

I always thought it was Enos. He was waiting on the bama job to see if he got called up. Now that he has I believe we'll see it happen in a couple days

After the Helton experience I think Pruitt is putting a huge emphasis on how they fit in his program

Students will be out of school, less noise and rock painting. Best answer I have, could be afraid it will turn off some recruits planning on signing then?

I could be 100% wrong but let's say it is someone with a bowl game or in the playoffs, it's disturbing to me CJP would hold off in announcing.

Geeze, I hope so. I’m not nearly as foam-at-the-mouth as a lot of people here, but Christmas is coming, and I need my life back.

What difference would him being in the NFL make? To me that would be something you'd want out there for recruiting.

Just like I'm not buying that he has his guy but isn't announcing because he's still working.

Reality is probably he's having problems landing one.

I think Taggart sucks as a HC. I thought so when he was hired at Oregon. How he has made it to be the HC at a program like FSU is puzzling. Even more puzzling is that he is an offensive coach, and their offense was so horrific this year that their OC got hired to be a head coach. So weird. Anyway, you’d have to think if they got a good OC who knew wtf he was going then they have a lot of upside. Moreso than the immediate situation in Knoxville. Long term though, I like our chances w Pruitt more than I would w Taggart.

I don't know anything, I just think if it was Friend since day one they would have announced it and got it over with and gone on about their business instead of letting it build up, just so they could let it calm back down.

If it is someone coaching a bowl, maybe they requested to wait until a certain time and Pruitt wants them enough to wait. Idk, but that makes more sense....to me, than Friend.

We may never know why it took so long, but we will find out who it is, and then we can all argue about what really happened. Haha.

Maybe out of respect for the team he is coaching he doesn't want his name released yet? JMO but I think CJP and Phil are far ahead of us in this hiring but I can understand that we're all frustrated at the lack of info but that could be a good thing in the long run.
