"Grits"

Florida is Michigan South.  You either don't eat grits, or do something stupid like putting sugar on them.

;)

Being a lawyer, and talking about grits, I would not be doing my job if I didn't ask, "How is it that you cooked your grits in 5 minutes when it takes the rest of the grit-eating world 20 minutes to cook their grits? Were these magic grits? Did you get them from the same guy that sold Jack his beanstalk beans?"

Can we at least all agree that we want to marry Marissa Tomeii?

If UT wins the game, I promise that you will see me on here the following Monday congratulating your team (mostly because my computer at home does not have the link on it).

Right. Like the UF fans have been doing for 3 of the past 4 years? There will always be an excuse: the officiating, the coach was brand new, the kicker had lead in his shoe, our cleats were too long, we used a substance called Epo, yada yada yada. . . .something, for sure.

Oh, and for your home computer: the address is www.volnation.com. That shouldn't be too hard to remember.

BTW: NO SELF-RESPECTING SOUTHERNER WOULD DARE USE INSTANT GRITS! :D

Well, now why on Earth would I want to be incommunicado from this site at any point during the year? Hmmmmmm....

See, if UF loses, I can wait until Monday to avoid the "I told you so" barrage I am going to get if I log on around midnight that Saturday at home whereas if UF wins I get to savor the build-up of my own "I told you so" thread come that Monday morning here at the orifice.

Two thoughts.  First, if Florida fans buy up those tickets, isn't that going to make for a rather thin UT crowd at the Florida game?

God, I love antagonizing you people. I swear, if UT does lose a game this year, the suicide rtate in Tennessee will quadruple for the next three days.

I'm sure your clients would appreciate the fact that you've strung together 50+ well thought out (heh heh heh) rival board posts at your "orifice" while diligently working and researching their cases. Send me a business card.

Kind of like Florida after the MSU game?

so how's the suicide rate in Florida, seeing as how you lost 4 or 5 games each of the last three seasons?

The better question is, if the refs from last year's UT or the prior year's FSU games came to the state, what would be their murder rate? 100 percent, baby!
