The lack if a strong-willed head coach who does not put up with BS from 19 year old kids, for starters. Spurrier stopped recruiting his last 18 months, that didn't help either. And then we had the Zooker.

I used to think that coaching mattered only to a limited degree because I figured that the student-athletes were pretty well motivated by wanting to make it into the NFL. In hindsight, I was wrong. I am really looking forward to what Meyer can get out of the same talent as did Zook. I think the sky is the limit.

So you are trying to acknowledge that Fulmer is a great coach? It's ok, you can just come right out and say it.

Ha! Nice try. I think he has done a very nice job there at UT. He lacks the fire and brimstone we UF fans are used to, but that's okay. Its results that count and that he has accomplished.

Actually, he may be one of the reasons that UT just does not seem to be much on the national radar screen in terms of big talk and what not. He is just sort of bland as a media personality. Look at Spurrier or Bowden or Paterno or Stoops or, dare I say it, Meyer. Look at B. Knight in b-ball. Those guys all get a lot of play cause they are interesting. Fulmer is just kind of ... there.

I think Coach Fulmer is quite humble. I would ask you to quote him once when he wasn't. I think he always shows respect for the opposing side. When Urban has a comparable record after five years in the SEC come back and we will talk. With Florida fans all I ever hear is confidence and grand remarks. And now a Florida fan has the audacity to come here and accuse Coach Fulmer of not being humble. That is almost laughable.

Fulmer is an old offensive lineman he doesnt have to say alot. He wont make remarks that down the road he'll have to eat.

He is humble, He counts his blessings everyday to have the job he has where he has it. Flashy isn't CPF that "W" at the end of the day speaks volumes. Want a little charisma, See Trooper Taylor. :good:

He also lacks your 15 losses from the last 3 years.
