Of course, if Noah were a VOL, you guys would be saying nothing about his looks. Do you really have a life away from this board?

I think Oden with his beard he has now looks like Lebrons "Grandpa" in those Lebron James commercials. It's Hilarious!

I am just mystified at this thread and others like it. The kid has no control over how he looks. He has control over his talent, and he works hard at that every day.

I think it is shameful that you mock his looks.

I really do.

he can get a haircut.

And what difference does that make? Guy was MVP of the NCAA tourney last year, led his team to the national title.

And your retort is that he can get a haircut?

Man, if that is the level of criticism you guys are reduced to, its not Fulmer you need to get rid of to make yourselves feel better, its the entire state.

You know if you don't like it you can just not look at it.

Just because it hit a little close to home doesn't mean we need your social commentary on the state of Tennessee.

The odd thing is, his dad being a successful professional tennis player, his mom was probably really hot. To use a cliche, you would have thought he picked the right parents.

Well, i have to say. His sister is fine as hell. And his mom still is hot.

My haircut remark was to you saying he has no control over his looks.

He has total control of his hair. Does he not.

Yes, he could get a haircut more suitable to your tastes.

I repeat: What does that have to do with his being a good basketball player?

I mean seriously. Why not complain that the configuration of the "o" on the Florida jerseys is a little off center? Or that the popcorn boxes at the Odome are to small?

Folks have control over that and they mean as much to the ability of the Gator bball team as Noah's haircut.

Can you please identify a factor that is meaningful and that can be spoken of intelligently? If you can't, go ahead and call your Mommy and see if she can think of something for you.

I didn't see the disclaimer when I signed up that said

"Everything discussed in on this message board should attain to how physically a player can play and in no way should you discuss something that a player has no control over"

You're little mommy comment that's cute. Like I said it hit a little close to home so you're going to bitch. I mean I'm sure you haven't been sitting around with your buds (if you have any out side of the internet) drinking beer and said damn that dudes ugly. I'm sure you're a saint.

Excuse me for questioning such an elite human being. I'm sorry sir.

As if you have never made fun of Coach Fulmer's weight. Get over it LG. Don't be such a crybaby.

So your response is now that I am the one at fault for being put off that your attack on him is utterly classless?

Or better yet that at some point in my life I must have made an insensitive remark so its okay for you to do so now?

And then throw a snide remark that my only friends are on the internet?

Follow all of that with a sarcastic apology?

Tell you what, I've given you three chances so far to explain what Noah's hair has to do with his ability. Not surprisingly, you have failed to take advantage of the opportunities afforded you to do so.

I'll give you what I believe to be a fair chance at redemption.

You may take this, your fourth chance to explain whatever merit there might be to your comments about Noah's looks. Or you can admit that your defense of this thread is as sorry as the thread itself.

And then we can move on to something worthwhile.

I honestly dont think he looks very ugly, I was just playing along. I meant no harm as I am sure others did not either.

We can all agree on this one...

Thanks for confirming, hypocrite. :good!:

I might have made one or two snide remarks. Don't really remember all that well.

But I know I did not run an enormous thread with about 15 people jumping on the Fulmer/doughnut wagon.

Besides which, my making fun of Fulmer was idle chit chat motivated by nothing more than a desire to stoke some conversation. The attacks on Noah are (not all, but some) malevolent, made out of jealousy and frustration.

Okay Roll, thanks for the sentiment. I appreciate that.

I mean, I don't know the guy and I don't mean to jump on people about it, but it has been a pet peeve of mine for awhile. I just have so much respect for him as a player and what he did for that team that I get a little defensive about it.

My commentary about Noah is purely factual. He's an ugly guy, not to mention his attitude on the court. If calls aren't going his way he whines... CONSTANTLY.

Not to mention, this is a Vol board, which would you expect, a thread mocking the looks of our football coach with increasing popularity... or this? Seriously?

Don't take it so personally. I didn't realize that you were the guy's personal reputation guard.

Listen here, we both know it has nothing to do with it. I also don't think anyone here thinks he's a god awful basketball player. That's not my problem with you.

Dude is ugly. Fulmer is fat. Both observations.

You said Phil was fat and I don't think I've ever said a word to you about it, but god forbid someone says that Joakim is ugly. God forbid someone makes an observation about someone from Florida. All of this was done in jest and you blow a freakin' gasket and start talking s*** about the state of Tennessee? Please.

As for you giving me chances, what's that all about? You my daddy now? Seriously big guy you need to get over yourself. Narcissism isn't healthy.

Conversely, I have so LITTLE respect for how he plays the game, you get a thread like this.
