Five positions, five players who can play those positions... And I will beat anybody.

I am all for moving Holly down the road and getting a coach. I wish Hart and UT felt the same. I agree these players could be a lot better with the right coach.

What do you do with players you tell again and again to shoot more and they still don't? Holly has said she's done that. That sounds like permission to me.

I don't know...Why did you read it. You posted... I replied. That's what people do on forums.

When people make unfounded, factless statements.... the door is opened for rebuttals. Did you check those recruiting facts as I suggested? UConn gets a its share of top recruits as the other elite teams, and some not elite teams such as the Lady Vols. It's what those coaches do with them that make the difference.

Recruit ranking wise, UT got its fair share too. The results for this past seasons' play for both UT and UConn are in the record book. How do the Lady Vols stack up?

If you can watch a Lady Vol game and then a UConn game and ascribe the difference in quality of play to "Geno gets all the best players" then there is little rational discussion opportunity available. But, hey, there are a ton of SEC coaches who say the same thing. And that speaks to the sorry state of WCBB.... lazy coaches who can't even get their teams in physical shape to run for 40 minutes with a UConn. Believing that UConn's success is a result of only Geno getting the best players doesn't make you, or like-minded SEC coaches, bad people. It makes those coaches clueless, IMO. It's OK for fans to be clueless... just not Div I WCBB coaches.

UConn's big 3, Stewart, Jefferson and Tuck got a lot better over 4 seasons in each and every aspect of their game. Chalk that up to the coaching . Please, give me the names of 3 Lady Vol players who have improved at UT over the same period.

I've never thought the "Geno jealousy speak" casts a favorable shadow over Lady Vol fans. The fact that the Lady Vols have never won a NC when playing against UConn should not cause the comments made by many fans.

Cooper a SG please ! This team would not have this problem if Holly did not move Carter from the 2 when she arrived at Tenn. Also Graves is a under size PF and that has not worked for 4 years now. Holly needs to think about playing Moore and Russell together more in this tournament if they want to move on.

Until Holly is replaced, this program will not be amongst the Elite. I watch the games because I like basketball. As a Lady Vol fan, I don't even get mad anymore. It's like the passion is gone. I wish these young ladies and this program much success, but until the University of Tennessee gets serious about their women's program and make a great hire, this will be the norm. I would of never thought SC would of surpassed Tennessee as a program. Hopefully things will change for the better.

This is what happens,passionate fans become numb from getting psyched up and then being let down 13 (losses) times this season, alone. ((When a team loses 2 or 3 a year and makes a good run in the tourney, no problem,even win a tourney once in a while))...

If you poll the fans right now... How many truly expect to see us in the elite eight with HW at the helm?????..Not this fan.

They begin to expect to be discouraged and start not to expect winning and to expect losing as their new normal...How many fans will have to say this before someone in the program reacts. Do you want proof fans willbegin to expect losing, just lookat duke. As far as they have fallen, I have heard almost nothing about their demise.......

If we don't make the elite 8 with this much talent, it will be a bad coaching job. NOT a bad player performance. A coach wins, a coach loses. Rarely is it the team alone that controls the outcome.... The coach calls the offense and defenses... The only time you can truly put a win or a loss on the players is when the coach sits and watches.... Wait a minute,didn't we win one like that already?... Maybe that's the plan.

The program has got soft. Soft coach, soft players. Massengale last year = soft. Burdick had some fire--but I don't know of one player on this team that has some toughness and some attitude. Graves has a tiny bit but she's never been a leader--works hard but not vocal; no intimidation factor. I think DeShields is soft, Russell is definitely soft, Carter is a bit like Graves--plays with some toughness sometimes but not vocal and really doesn't have the steel that really good players have; Reynolds has a little bit of toughness at times. All in all, a fairly milquetoast group.

Loss of passion for me, too, because the disappoint from losing is so painful. I no longer expect them to win when playing a lesser opponent.

Let's see if you have this same enthusiasm next season when the same type of basketball is being played and Tennessee is still breaking records in the worse way. Or how about when the 2017 recruits who suppose to be leaning towards Tennessee burn us and sign elsewhere. Or how about when Tennessee is in the middle of the pack of the SEC again. Or when majority of the fans loose all passion and Tennessee just become an ordinary program. Holly gives me no confidence that she'll turn anything around. I don't see any Final Fours, Championships or top recruiting classes in the near future with Holly as the head coach. Yes, she is a nice person and yes she dedicated a lot of time and energy to the Lady Vol program, but I just don't think she has what it takes to get Tennessee back upon the Elite programs. No one respects or is scared of Tennessee anymore. Not trying to be mean, but just being honest and being real.
