Offensive Coordinator candidates

Don't forget Scott Frost Tennessee would be a good place for him to rehabilitate his name

Given some of the answers I heard from his press conferences (my favorite being: “I didn’t have an answer to what their defense was doing schematically.” Or something to that regard)… he would be an extremely hard pass for me.

Think Frost…. Like Weinke got some opportunities based on his playing career. He absolutely shouldn’t be the OC here. But maybe he could come put in the work and LEARN.

Hope it's Halzle as OC/QB coach and we hire a TE coach who can recruit at a high level as well as train the position. Really liked Golesh as an OC but never saw the TE's become much of a factor as pass catchers.

I nominate Benjamin Grimm as OL coach. He will bring along his staff, Aunt Petunia as TE/RB coach, and the Yancy Street Gang due to their recruiting prowess.

Obviously Golesh is a big loss but who are some good OC’s we can go after to replace him? My list is Charlie Weis Jr. Todd Monken, Doug Menchum and Jeff Lebby

Monkens offense is predicated on having a dominant OL and superior athletes at RB and TE. We re not quite there yet. Tuna Junior seems ok, but has he been away from Kiffin on his own?

I like the idea of bringing Scott Frost on as an assistant/analyst, but not as OC. With early signing period, an uncoming huge bowl game opportunity and momentum heading into next season, I hope Heuple will hire from within.

A brand new OC learning Heuple's scheme and the personnel would just not be good timing at all. Promote from within, roll the dice, see how next season goes and if after the 4th or 5th game in 2023, he should have a great idea whether it'll work or not.
