Just looked at our depth chart and we don’t list more than two people at each tackle position.
left. Heard/Johnson
right. Campbell/Davis

if any of those get hurt or are out, do we move some guards over to tackle?
what other options do we have?

Those weekly depth charts don’t list everyone on the roster. They’re typically just the 2-deep. Or 3-deep if it’s a position where 3 play significant snaps.

At OT, Tennessee has Lance Heard, Campbell, Johnson, Davis, Jeremias Heard, Duncan, Perry, Warren, Ginther…and Anderson and Grant can also play OT. Even Sham can play OT.

I remember one game years ago when the place kicker got hurt in practice, and the backup pulled a muscle while warming up and we had no kicker. The UT police had to go fetch a walk-on from his frat house, escort him to the stadium and he suited up and ended up scoring a field goal and three extra points and getting the game ball. Can't remember how long ago that was, but thought it was funny.

Are Ayden Bussell and Masai Redick also tackles ? I thought one was.
They both came in under 300 lbs, They would have had to bulk up a lot to play tackle. Reddick has been here awhile so he should have bulked up by now. If he was going to play this year he would have by now.

short update

“I feel like we’ll have both those guys when we get to Fayetteville,” Heupel said.

have several younger players but they are a long way from being effective and able to protect Nico.
