the pac-10 is 5-0 in bowl games. That screams underrated to me.
and the sec and big 12 are both 5-1.

ooooh...........aaaaaaaaah............

i'm assuming you're clamouring for USC......which is perfectly legit. but are you really going to have a problem with UF or OK being named a national champion? no, both are deserving.

as much hell as i give holtz on this site and in general, he has made one very valid point this bowl season..........

"i can tell you why USC, Florida, Oklahoma, Utah can all claim to be the national champion, or why they should be in the national championship game.......i can't, however, tell you why they shouldn't be"

insightful for a crotchity old gas bag.

What's your prediction?

I am going to go with the prevailing and popular theory that the B12 defenses are pretty bad, meaning Florida will score and that Oklahoma's scoring is overrated because of the bad defenses they faced this season.

UF 38
OU 16

But I'm not real confident in it!

Think you're about right. I see Gators winning tonight and should not be close.

actually the SEC has lost 2 games. South Carolina lost to Iowa and of course Bama lost to Utah.
I think the Big 12 has lost 2 or maybe more.

I am rooting for the SEC to win as well. Maybe that will shut up some of the OK players.

I'm going by the assumption that florida's defense isn't that good judging by the horrible offenses they have faced all year.

i don't have a big beef with oklahoma. their resume is good. florida hasn't beaten anyone and losing to ole miss at home is worse than losing to oregon state on the road.

Notice I said Cal and not the entire Pac-10.

Congrats on barely beating a middle of the road ACC team without a bunch of starters in your home STATE!:eek:lol:

I imagine that'll be droski's reason that the Gators pound the Sooners tonight, too.

Oh no, droski broke the news that the Vols sucked this year. I guess that'll shut us up.

Everyone here admits UT was terrible.

The PAC-10 beat four average teams, what does that prove?

Oregon State's 3-0 win over Pitt proved a lot.
