Offical Vince Young thread

If we could just have Pac, a solidified RB, and a wide receiver we could be wild card potential. What's everyone think about Ryan Fowler or Stephen Tulloch. I think Tulloch has great potential to go along with Cortland Finnegan.

This team already has playoff potential. If Lendale and Chris Brown can stay healthy, we'll be playing in January.

But that's a big if. I don't think Lendale can handle a full season and I sure don't think Chris Brown can handle it. Brown's a great RB if healthy, but that's far and few between. I don't see us ever advancing deep into the playoffs with Jim Schwartz as our d coordinator. But if Pacman could have stayed out of trouble then we would possible be contenders, but I would have to put
1.Pats
2.Chargers
3.Indy
4.Denver
5.Jets
6.Ravens
7.Bengals
8.Jags
9.Bills in no particular order
and the Chiefs if Johnson can get going

I just don't see us better than 3 of those teams this year.

1. You'll be wrong.
2. He'll be back after Week 11.
3. Placing the Bills on that list (especially after the Titans' first team dismantled them last night) negates your entire post.

Losman is improving rapidly. I think the Titans are probably a bit better than them, but the Bills should still be considered on that list. Pacs done, and the Jets will be above the Titans and the Jags (assuming they go with Garrard) will be ahead of the Titans. I think it's ludicrous to even consider the Titans a legitimate playoff team. They're coming along and coach Fisher has done a nice job, but they need more experience and more time before they're able to compete for a championship or make any sort of run in the playoffs.

Now saying all of that, I hope that you're right about everything. Trust me I wish everyday that Pac could come back, but I just don't think he will, or should.

1. Is that why he nearly threw 3 interceptions in the first half last night?

2. We'll find out on 12/23.

3. I guess that's why they finished behind us last December. Also, what gives you confidence in Garrard considering he was picked off at will against our secondary? At best, David could start for maybe 3 other teams in the league right now.

4. Whether you like it or not, Adam Jones will reinstated after 10 games (assuming he continues to stay out of trouble).

1.It was preseason
2.Yes we will
3.They have a much stronger defense than us and are just a bit better
4.I hope you're right, I want Pacman back, but really he shouldnt be allowed, but saying that, I DO hope he's reinstated.

Until they get moderate play from the QB position, they will finish no better than third in the AFC South.

Garrard is going to be a decent Qb that will keep this team in playoff contention. I don't know if Quinn Grey is still on there roster, but he should be the backup.

Atlanta, Oakland, Houston (2x) are the only games that they should really win. They may luck up and win another game or 2. I just pray that Vince doesn't get killed in his first year or two so they can actually have a QB down the road that can lead them to better times.

Barring injury from Odom, Brown, Young, Bulluck, and Griffin, they have a chance to win 9 or 10 games this year. If Adam is restored after Week 11, I'll gladly place a wager that they make the playoffs this year.

This has to be the most absurd statement ever. Jim Schwartz would find a way to make the Baltimore D look bad. 6-10 is a realistic way of looking at it. I know you want the Titans to be good, believe me, I do too, but there's absolutely no way they can go anywhere this year.

Even if Pacman is reinstated, what leads you to believe that he'll stay. Since the shooting incident he's been out on a night club the night before his meeting with the NFL and then lied to him about it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but that's really not that professional of him is it? And he's also made a rap album and tried to wrestle and has even applied for reinstatement after he said he would take his penalty. This really shows nothing other than he's learned nothing.
