Yeah, GM looked real impressive losing on their home court yesterday. Hofstra, the preseason pick to win the CAA, lost to an awful Manhattan team. The CAA was a cute story. Their 15 minutes are up.

Blaine Taylor, and Jeff Capel, Sr. before him, have put some very good teams on the floor. Great win today. It appears the Monarchs have overcome losing Loughton, et al better than most would have thought.

i did have my doubts, especially after losing loughton.. but what a win... i feel guilty because all preseason i called g'town overrated, but right now I like the idea of saying we beat the number eight team.... really looking forward to seeing the lady vols make their trip here Dec 22. i'm sure candice parker can't wait either

With a team as young as Cal has right now, there are going to be nights like that. Ga Tech was almost as bad in the first half. Cal and Hewitt will both have some nights where they feel as if their heads are going to explode.

Not really. They lost to Brown the other night. BC getting off to the same kind of uneven start they had last year.
