They aren't that good either. They'll be wildcard contenders at best (like they usually are) for Berry's career more than likely imo.

Detroit and the Cardinals (and at one time the Oilers) are the only teams to stay bad for that long

The Chiefs like every other team in the league go up and down, which they definitely will during Berry's career if he plays 10+ years

That could change at any time. The Patriots sucked for years until Brady took over. I think the Chiefs are on the right path with Matt Cassell and Scott Pioli, GM, from New England and Todd Haley as head coach. They could be very good soon. They also got the former OC and DC of the Patriots, fat arse Charlie Weis and fat arse Romeo Crennel.
