Richard Jackson is no longer on the Jamestown Jammers Roster, in all likelihood he never reported.

I'm assuming since Harris wasn't on the ut release that it's official he won't be back next year. I hate that, I thought he had potential.

Cammarata wasn't on the release last year and came back, but I think that got worked out...It's not official until those guys I mentioned in the other thread are no longer on the roster...but yeah, it doesn't look good for those guys...of course if I'm a couple of those guys I'm probably ready to go get a better shot somewhere else.

I agree, they didn't sign here to sit on the bench and not play any. There has to be room to bring in the big class that was signed.

when Andrew Lee signed and DC showed some power numbers last summer, the staff wanted to give him a shot at playing 1st.

Didn't realize there was a mid-season suspension. I guess I missed that. On that note, if you aren't working for the team you're working against it and you cut those people loose.

I don't think we're being fair here to Harris...he's not the only guy that got suspended this year, or last year and we don't really know what happened in any of those cases.

He's going to a JUCO and there could be several reasons for that. Freshman in college may not make the best decisions, especially when you're a highly touted freshman who can't get on the field. We've had a few guys have some trouble their freshman years who turned out fine in the end, we've had some move on.

In fact the moving on, whether it's related to trouble or not has been frustrating with guys like Matt Esparza or Aaron Quillen, quite a few...and about this time of year the speculation begins only to be crushed by football season and we never know why Trevor Bettencourt ends up playing in the college world series this season for someone else.

I guess it is what it is...but as a fan it's frustrating.

He's draft eligible every year he's in JUCO, I doubt we see him in D1 again, but anything is possible. Nah, tell him your self.

Looks like Westphal had a 1-2-3 inning in a 5-3 loss. He had 2 backward K's in the inning.

The Brewster Whitecaps fell to Cotuit 5-3. Langhorne was 1-3 with an RBI and a walk. Westphal pitched the 8th retiring the side in order and striking out 3. Westphal is sporting a 0.00 ERA in three appearances.

Hyannis did not play today.
