Did all the pitchers throw 1 inn?

Nope. It was a mixed bag. The next two kids threw 3ip a piece. (7 inning game) The 2nd pitcher threw 33 pitches to get through 3ip. Zach Reid threw the last three and needed 64 pitches. So it looks like pitch count wasn't as important as 3ip was for those two.

Rodgers was 2-4 with a run scored and an RBI today.
Waldren was 1-3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI's.
He is up to 14RBI for the summer.

If I had to guess, I'd say lack of use. But I really don't know for sure.

I looked at his stats from this past season. He made 13 appearances out of the bullpen which isn't bad. Maybe he wants to be a starter?

Could be. I don't remember him much during SEC play.

I think it's just a move to get more innings. He is actually moving farther from home by doing this.

That's what I noticed too. He's from Alabama so the excuse for him being homesick wouldn't work would it? hmy:

Last night Waldren was 0-2 with a walk and SO.

Hyannis lost 5-1.

Leftridge was 0-2 in game 1, 2-3 in game 2.
Waldren was 1-4 in a 3-1 loss. The losing pitcher in that game was Quint Robinson.
In relief he went 2 1/3 ip 4H 3R 3ER.

Bartlett didn't play summer ball. Neal played like 5 games and hasn't played since.

His stat sheet for SLO never listed Tennessee as his school, only had a photo of him in UT gear.
