Clicked around on Coastal Plains sites after the Plummer posts. Redmond Walsh and Sean Hunley are on the Forest City Owls. With the number of innings Hunley pitched this season, I cant imagine he will be there long before shutting it down. But looks like he started the home opener for them tonight. Solid outing.

Final line for Hunley
W 1-0 IP 5 H 1 R 0 ER 0 BB 0 K 8

I believe Walsh closed it out tonight for the Owls and also did well.

Both Redmond Walsh and Sean Hunley are in the Coastal Plains League with the Forest City Owls...both got off to solid starts.

RW: 4 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 SO, .225 ERA (in relief)

SH: 1 GS, 1 W, 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 8 K, .000 ERA (starter)

Truth be told I wasn't really looking for them, I was looking for Nico...he's got to be playing somewhere, right?

I don't know how many years I've been doing a summer ball thread, but one would think UT could at least tell us where they are before they start playing games...it's frustrating.

Benoit's name show up on the Valley Blue Socks in the NECBL. Still looking for Nico. What about Stapp is he coming back?

I haven’t heard anything about Stapp. Would think he would return since he is a Vitello recruit. I don’t think Nico is playing anywhere this summer.

With Nico’s schoolwork I doubt he plays anywhere this summer. I’m sure he’s on campus training and taking some classes

Desperately, but this year I'm going to get a Matsu Miner hat even if we don't have a player there.

But, there are some new teams...for sure on the list is a Macon Bacons hat.

Or a Portland Pickles hat...

I definitely need Macon Bacons, though that is not quite as good as when their hockey team was Macon Whoopee. The Savanah Bananas actually reminded me of the Pickles.

I have an Idaho Falls Chukars 3/4 sleeve tee and a Montgomery Biscuits tee that are pretty sweet.

Sold out all season with over 4,000 per game for a collegiate summer league team!
Baseball should be fun ut promo staff! It isn’t giving students a hard time for sitting in an empty section or telling fans to not put their feet over the chair in front of them when the stadium is almost empty!
