I'd really love to see Maidana give Broner a cannon to the liver, but i figure it's going to be a one sided affair in the other direction.

Definitely. ....I don't know what it is about Broner but I'd like to hit him with a claw hammer.

And it's not his cockiness either.

Pretty sure it's just the fact that he's an awful human being but, unfortunately, I don't think Maidana will make near enough contact to do any actual damage.

I take some satisfaction that a 99% shot Erik Morales gave Maidana a better fight than Broner.

Yeah, transitive property yadda yadda, I know.

The funniest part of the Mikey Garcia / Yuriorkis Gamboa twitter spat is how many people believe that Gamboa is tweeting in solid English.

Missed this. What's the beef about there? I used to follow Gamboa religiously anyway that I could a few years back but he's been such a disappointment recently that he just completely fell off my radar.

Typical chest thumping. Gamboa saying Mikey is afraid to fight him, etc.

Gamboa has a pretty blah resume, looking at it. He's beaten some game fighters, but their styles seem pretty cherry picked.

Back when it looked like there was an imminent showdown coming between him and Juan Manuel Lopez a few years ago, I was really looking forward to that because they both appeared to be real fighters who also weren't afraid to brawl. Then Lopez proved that he wasn't as good as originally thought and Gamboa stopped looking like an action fighter at all. Now he's just faded out of the picture for the most part. Granted, that idiotic stunt with his promoter and ending up with 50 didn't help matters.

He unloaded in the 12th, but it looked like Pascal's only goal there was to not take an uppercut to the chin. Puzzling fight, all in all.

Not enough of a contest to warrant a rematch, bring on Pascal/ Stevenson.

It's the idiotic system that they've built, no going back now.

I've heard enough about Canelo for a lifetime, I like Angulo, but not enough to consider buying. Undercard is pretty decent sounding, so I might put in the effort to find an alternate source.

Exactly. I'll watch it somehow someway but it won't be via PPV.
