Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence, Jr. this saturday, ought to be fun. I love Spence, mainly because he and I have the same favorite fighter, "Terrible" Terry Norris

Spence is undefeated and on his way to stardom. Brook's only loss is to GGG, after moving up in weight 13 lbs. I am pumped for this one. I don't have Showtime, so hopefully, I can find a bar that is showing it. Kind of doubt it, probably have to catch it on YouTube, after the fight. Obviously, nobody else cares. It's so sad. Boxing is dying a slow painful death. I remember when the civic colosseum used to sell-out when they showed big fights on closed-circuit TV, that was the original pay-per-view

Spence wins by 11th round stoppage. I had to get live updates, but apparently he dominated most of the fight and is now a world champ

He was getting out boxed for the first part of the fight but Spence was putting in body work and around maybe rd 6 or 7 it paid off and Spence started lighting brook up. The last couple rds brook was barely hanging on then quit in the 11th because Spence had messed his other eye up

That's both eyes in back to back fights so brook might be close to being done

I caught some of the highlights on YouTube. I plan on watching the whole fight sometime 2morrow.

Those body punches are like your money in the bank, gathering interest in the later rounds. Any chance, anybody remembers Mike "The Body Snatcher" McCallum?

Hate it for Brook, tho. I, actually thought it was the same eye that GGG messed up. He took this fight pretty quick, after the GGG one. I think it was a mandatory title defense. Just thought maybe he wasn't completely healed. But, the other eye is probably worse. U may be right, he may be thru

Man that's a pretty bad deal. To save you some time if you don't feel like reading the full article this fight ward is getting over 6 mil guaranteed and kovalev's official purse will be $0 with his cut strictly coming from the ppv buys and gate

Who do y'all have in the ward/kovalev fight tonight?

Also Floyd is doing golden boy dirty by scheduling his "fight" a couple weeks before canelo/GGG and on the same day as the cotto fight who just signed with them

Don't think I've ever seen anything like that last fight

I would've called a no contest but I'm glad that one guy didn't win because it looked to me like he was faking being knocked out trying to get the easy W

Regardless of if you think some of those shots were low or not that was a really quick stopage. Kovalev looked close to being done anyway but should have given him an 8 count and either let him pull something out of his @$s or ward finish the fight

Edit: just saw that the final punch before the stoppage that made kovalev buckle was definitely a low blow. Like I said ward was probably going to win anyway but that's a sorry way for the fight to end

Ward won by a tko in the 8th. It was a close fight until then i had kovalev uo by 2 but he was gassed. Ward caught him on the chin and rocked him then started hitting the body some low some not so he kinda of folded up and the ref stopped it

If you didn't get a chance to see it it's definitely worth a watch

That's why that fight is about to get crazy numbers. You've got people who hate McGregor that want to see him catch a beating, people that hate Floyd that want to see him get caught and embarrassed by someone who doesn't even box, mma and boxing fans that just want to see what happens, and people that just want to watch it because it's an event

Make no mistake Floyd is going to dismantle him but leading up to the fight the trash talk between them is going to have people thinking McGregor actually has a shot at winning

It's just such a joke and the people acting like this is good for boxing because of "attention" are delusional. It's a three ring circus with two amazing carnival barkers.

It's definitely not good for the sport it's good for Floyd,Dana,and McGregor's bank account but that's about it. There's some really good fights this year but they won't get the publicity they deserve because the press and people will be paying attention to this farce

This fight is the best thing boxing could hope for. The purists will hate it but it will turn the heads of the masses towards a boxing match which hasnt happened in a long long time.

He doesn't have to but he can when he doesn't fear his opponent anymore (see Ricky Hatton). If it makes it to the 2nd quarter McGregor will be toast and Floyd will slowly pick him apart, eventually he'll knock him out if he wants to.
