You got it mixed up.. The U.K. just ****ed themselves. Kind of like how the U.S. does every time there is an election.

I think the three big losers are Cameron, the EU, and the Labour party...it was the labour areas that was responsible for this win

Very few of U.K.'s laws come from the E.U. If the U.K. wants to trade with Europe they are going to have to keep those laws anyway. And if you think leaving the ECHR and putting your human rights in the hands of the Tories.. good luck with that ****. You're going to need it.

Rotherham, traditionally dominated by the Labour Party, returned a 40,000-plus vote majority in favor of the leave campaign.

Rotherham had their own immigration problem. A child sex ring operated for multiple years by immigrants and was ignored by the socialists who were running their city. That policy was directly influenced by the European Union's insistence on the free flow of migrants across national lines.

Seems to me communities like Rotherham had first-hand experience with how the statist EU and their socialist overlords handle human rights when immigrants are directly involved in their violation.

A large portion of Labour Party voters in England chose freedom over the Venezuelan-style bureaucratic slavery you would have them live under. They shared this in common with the clear majority of Tory voters.

Refreshing to see liberals and conservatives choose to exercise direct sovereignty over their government over a non-responsive, unelected body of untouchable Brussels statists.

The only people crying today are the establishment politicians and the cronies who have bought them.

The people, across ideological lines, took back their government.

Obama prepared to punish our number one ally because they dared cross him

Obama’s advice may have pushed some voters to “leave.” In April, he warned British voters they would be at the “back of the queue” in trade with the U.S. if they left the EU. Some, like Andrew Roberts, took offense, writing in the Wall Street Journal:

Surely—surely—this is an issue on which the British people, and they alone, have the right to decide, without the intervention of President Obama, who adopted his haughtiest professorial manner when lecturing us to stay in the EU, before making the naked threat that we would be sent “to the back of the queue” (i.e., the back of the line) in any future trade deals if we had the temerity to vote to leave.

Was my country at the back of the line when Winston Churchill promised in 1941 that in the event of a Japanese attack on the U.S., a British declaration of war on Japan would be made within the hour?

Why don't you put your television on CSPAN right now and allow the folks involved in the fishing industry in Plymouth to explain to you in clear terms how EU regulations have hurt them?

As for Rotherham...

Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Exploitation in Rotherham (1997 – 2013) | Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council

Yeah...it was fiction.

:eek:lol:

or tune to the BBC and see how the EU rules destroyed the British steel industry

EU state aid rules prevent the government from helping out the nation's steel companies — EU law strictly prevents parliament from bailing out dying companies.

This is exactly why the leadership of both the Labour and Tory parties lost vast numbers of their voters tonight in England. Corbyn kissed the ring of the London Labour elites and refused to stand up for those who have been victimized by Brussels in the Labour home areas of North England. Cameron engaged in a ruse with his voters pretending he had won a major economic and immigration deal with Brussels when he had achieved nothing of the sort.

This was merely about maintaining a status quo that worked to the primary economic and political power advantage of the three major parties in the United Kingdom. It clearly wasn't working for the majority in England. But Cameron, Corbyn, and Salmond really didn't give a damn.

Yeah...those voters in Burnley, Sunderland, Gateshead, and Rotherham are rock-solid conservatives who voted for Thatcher and worship the ground Cameron walks on.

:hi:

I would produce a map demonstrating quite clearly that leave won on the basis of cross-party, cross-ideological appeal. But this would go over your head as it is obvious you wouldn't know London, England from London, Kentucky.

Well, the site Democratic Underground is in full meltdown mode over the Brexit vote tonight. And I saw one blaming Trump for bringing racism to a "global" scale.

Liberals always give me a good chuckle.
