Those results would actively change our resume, is the point. So if we lose to Missouri, we have no shot of getting in with 18 wins and 19 probably won't be enough (unless we also beat Kentucky in Rupp). If we beat Kentucky, 18 probably will be enough and 19 will be a sure thing (unless we also lose at home to Missouri). You're right that it doesn't actually cinch the result right there (I'll admit to some hyperbole with that), but it would dramatically change the whole dynamic in terms of the number of wins necessary.

Disagree...18 wins and I think we are in regardless of the combo, SOS and RPI aren't gonna vary much no matter the scenario.

Just to pour a little salt on the wound, if Tennessee had won they'd be tied for 4th place with Arkansas' lost tonight.

Very little movement today. It was just the way we lost that hurts.

We may actually reach our highest RPI of the season here in about 10 minutes...Wichita State is about to beat Illinois State who is a couple spots ahead of us in RPI...if we had won our RPI likely would've broke into the 20's

Looks like Auburn will probably be an NIT team this year...that's actually pretty good after back to back 20 loss seasons.

Current Record: 14-8 (3-6)
GAMER Projected Record: 17-14 (6-12)

Alabama in line for an SEC participation award..I doubt they would get an NIT invite either they only have one good win
