Official Bubble Watch Thread

Need to see an extended list. You got that?

Lunardi has wiped out 2 team from first 4 out and gone to a first 2 out because the bubble is that weak, according to Lunardi...

Last 4 IN:
Wake Forest
Syracuse
Kansas State
Rhode Island

First 2 OUT:
Southern Cal
Illinois State

I don't think tenn would have gotten in over any of those. High 50s rpi with very few top 50 wins wouldn't have done it

I think Illinois State would be likeliest to get in of that group, but heck how many good wins do they have? Syracuse has an all time bad RPI so to me it's hard to see them getting in over that Tennessee team. That leaves Kansas State, both have the same number of top 60 RPI wins and Tennessee beat them head to head.

Again, no way to know for sure but if Tennessee was 18-14 they would be sitting in that group of 3-4 teams with a good chance of getting in.

Today would have ended badly imo

I wanna see who gets in, again though, there is zero denying Tennessee would be right there projected in by some and out by some, 1 of a few teams competing for the last 2 spots.

If Illinois State is the team that gets in then I would say Tennessee probably gets left out, I think Tennessee would've gotten in over Kansas State or Syracuse though.

I think kstate and Syracuse both have much better wins than tenn.

Georgia Tech has some great wins too, should they be considered? There's more than just that gets factored in, but again, you claimed none of those team were likely to get in when in reality one of them has to.

Syracuse has a horrendous RPI, Illinois State has 1 good win, Kansas State has a few more 20-40 RPI wins than Tennessee but some number of overall top 60 RPI wins. Tennessee has the better RPI and SOS, so at the end of the day we have zero clue what the committee is going to look at and weigh more, in the past they've put a lot on SOS, no telling if this year will be the same.

IMO if Illinois State is in over the other 2 then Tennessee would've been left out, but I believe they absolutely are in over Syracuse and IMO in over Kansas State as well. At the very least we would be sitting here as 1 of the last teams in first teams out by everyone and glued to the selection show knowing the Vols had a very realistic chance.

My prediction, Syracuse and Illinois State don't hear their name called...

Last 4 IN:
Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
Southern Cal
Kansas State

Had it right, no Syracuse or Illinois State, had 3/4 last 4 teams right as well, Providence was in and not Vandy.

On Vandy, they got in as a 9 seed, Jerry Palm should quit with bracketology all together...he had been pushing for weeks a 15 loss team wouldn't get in, not only did they get in but they were very safe.

BTO for the win. He may be lunardi in disguise.
