Overreaction?

I think not.

If what LaMonte says is true and Dave Hart only reached out to him for the first time this morning as a courtesy.... He should get a pay raise.

You're the MAN, Mr. Hart.

The fact that he couldn't get Gruden is one thing. The fan base can get over that. Their hero isn't coming, and that pleases those of us that aren't blinded by a Super Bowl ring.

Letting the ring lickers, mouth breathers, self-proclaimed Grudenites and idolators erupt for the last two weeks while he apparently sat in his office NOT making a knee-jerk reaction, and doing what's in the best interests of the football program ?!?!

This is better than I could ever have imagined......Who cares that its not even close to being over, Gruden's not coming and that's AWESOME.

Put me in the group that thinks we might have an outstanding new AD as well.

Blinded by a Super Bowl ring is a problem most of us would like to have, seeing as how that's the biggest accomplishment in football.

I truly hope Hart does what is in the best interests of the program. Gruden or no Gruden.

Do you feel like he should held accountable for the hire he winds up making if it turns into a Dooley 2.0?

What was funny about that? It was simply a question.

Once again , I'm not laughing at your question. I'm not laughing at you either. I'm laughing at the OP , who is calling Hart a genius. I'm sure you will get a complete , unbiased answer , when you call someone a genius , when he has done NOTHING.

Its cool. And I agree with you. Hart has done nothing... good or bad. Yet.

Blinded by a Super Bowl ring is a problem most of us would like to have, seeing as how that's the biggest accomplishment in football.

But it is not the biggest accomplishment in college football.

I've never been on the Gruden bandwagon. The pros and college are very different games, and the skill-sets for success vary greatly.

No, as an NCAA fan I disagree. I think conference championships and National Championships are bigger accomplishments. JMO...
