Well Dale, Jr gets the bonehead move of the day award with an honorable mention to Vickers.

I really dont think he meant to clip him. Jr got bumped over the double line by vickers. Jr just misjudged coming back into line. My opnion is jr had the momentum to go around vickers. Vickers just made an aggressive block too late!

No doubt. Not a Kyle fan either, but it really sucks that his day had to end that way after having such a great car.

You must be a Jr. fan.

I did have him as a pick so I am out of it for a high finish. Need M. Martin to step it up.

Good call Vickers. If anyone thinks NASCAR is going to penalize Jr for that they're crazy.

He has talent or he would not have any wins, but he is far from the top. Not in proportion to his hype.

exactly. As I said in the wreckfest thread, he's a good driver, but not a good racer. Sucks for Busch, he had such a strong car.

As for what happened, with that much racing left, Vickers needed to let him go, even with the "lucky dog". However, Jr has to be more careful about getting back up in line if he crosses that double line. Rules are rules.

So because he's popular mostly because of his father he's overrated?

No but the way he's publicized as one of the best in the sport and with how much talk he gets.. combine that with what he's actually won, and it gives you the most overrated person in sports.

His talent maybe a bit overrated. He cannot help the popularity part. However, he's prolly top 3 in the sport at the restrictor plate tracks.

Just because he's the most popular driver doesn't mean he's given some kind of crown as the best driver. He's talked about because he's popular. I don't see how you could call him overrated unless he's being talked up as the best driver out there. No one is saying that. He hardly ever gets a mention when someone is talking about the best drivers.

As do I and I saw it entirely differently. I have nothing against Jr. and that isn't usually his style, but he could have avoided turning Vickers.

As I mentioned earlier he absolutley misjudged coming back onto the track. I just did not see it as intentional.
Rooting for Kenseth and Martin now!!!

give him a crew chief who was worth half a crap and he wld have several more wins

Since no responded in the other thread, I'm bringing it up here. Jr. is a bigger problem than Eury. It has to kill Eury that Jr. can't tell him anything about what the car is doing.
