3-ball definitely hurt us more than it helped us last night. I guess we're not the '71-'72 Bruins after all!

Where is Volprof in here *****ing about the 3 point shot when it is keeping UNC in this game vs IU?

Most revolutionary development in basketball; seconded by none, even the 7 foot center.

I figured this would be a tough game. Indiana's loss to Fort Wayne never meant a thing. Just about anyone probably would have lost to Fort Wayne in that setting, just like Carolina at Northern Iowa last year. I know such games in such settings are as foreign to Duke and Coach K as a North Carolinian is to Duke's campus, but when you're an Indiana or a UNC, those kinds of games and losses happen.

Indiana will be a force to be reckoned with in the Big Ten this year.

I'll try to be here as much as possible to harass you and your NBA farm team. I just haven't been as enthused by sports this year as I have in the past.

As I mature, I'm looking more at sports as a game rather than a way of life. Just not quite as passionate as I've been in the past.

You'll like this. At One of the last Duke/UNC games I attended at Cameron guess who was sitting front row under the basket? Just when you thought you couldn't hate either one any more than you already did.

Huckleberry was certainly impressed with the IU crowd, while disparaging the "wine and cheese crowd" at his post game presser. Kind of funny actually.

Doesn't surprise me one single bit. Also yet another reminder of what a complete and utter phony of a "populist" he is. Just another wealthy elite who finally figured out how to game and beat all the other wealthy elites.

Well, Duke got two of the big 3 back, but in the meantime lost Frank Jackson to a, you guessed it(!), foot injury. Doesn't sound like it's too bad, but these foot injuries are getting out of control!!

Grayson Allen probably should have entered the draft. As a Duke fan I'm glad he didn't, but I would have to imagine that his draft stock is lower than Kennard's right now.

Kennard is playing as well as anyone in the country. Allen is really banged up with turf toe. I doubt he'll play until the first ACC game.

I don't care how many posts Duke gets back, they are still a 4 out 1 in team.

They weren't when Okafor was there. As you said Tatum is a stud, be afraid, be very afraid . Kennard is playing great, Allen is hurt and Giles hasn't even played yet. Feeling pretty good right now.

He is the real deal. Kennard shining right now. They're good.

They kind of became one; inserting Jones and putting Winslow at the 4 was part of what sparked them. But as long as they have the size to defend opposing 4s, I'm fine with it.

Plus, we could see a lot of something like Allen-Kennard-Tatum-Giles-Jefferson, which is a huge lineup.

I would imagine Grayson gives it a go this weekend against UNLV then shuts it down until ACC play. That's like, what, 20+ days of rest? That will be huge for him. His shot may be struggling, but I was excited to see him passing last night. I think he should probably run point from now on, it kinda stalled with Frank running it last night. Also, as long as Duke is outrebounding teams running a 4 out 1 in I doubt they change, K loves small ball with a guy like Tatum at the 4. The scary thing about this team is that they literally have a lineup for every situation. Every. Single. One.

I agree with that lineup too. As long as one of the post players can stretch the floor they'll use a lineup like that. I think two bigs down low crowds the lane and prevents driving which is what this offense needs.

For the HS Class of 2013 (now seniors), 14 of the top 16 players (per 247 Composite) left for the NBA. The two remaining: #8 Kasey Hill (Florida) and #16 Isaiah Hicks (UNC).

For the Class of 2014 (juniors), 14 of the top 16 went to the NBA. The two who haven't: #9 Justin Jackson (UNC) and #15 Theo Pinson (UNC).

This does not surprise me at all. UNC doesn't develop top tier like they used to and it is hurting recruiting.

UNLV is paying an awesome tribute to their 1991 squad by shaving a bunch of points en route to throwing this game against Duke.

Duke leads 71-35 with 10 minutes left.

Come on man, we won that fair and square. Saw your boy Roy tonight in person. Could've won that one.
